Ship Profile: La Galissonnière was the lead ship of the most modern light cruisers in the French navy when the war broke out.
With nine 6-inch guns and a 34 knot top speed, she was designed to be well suited to fighting the ships of France’s rival, Germany.
Its gonna be awesome!!!
For a fresh experience with nations without unique focus trees, the ‘Regional focus trees’ is worth a look.
It adds in new region-specific focus trees for minor nations, like the African/Liberian one pictured.

When invading China as Japan, do you prefer to attack with naval invasions from the east, or a full-throated strike south on land?
If you can get a team of friends together this weekend, one challenge that you might like to try is ‘Between The Seas’.
For this play as all the nations between Germany and the USSR, and try and survive against them both!
Undoubtedly the *real* one true Queen 😉
It’s Achievement Friday!
‘William Wallis’ is a fun achievement, requiring you to play as Britain and enforce a monarchy on the USA, while holding it and Scotland as subjects.
What are the best strats to achieve this?
You can never have enough Chinas', right?
Thanks to u/WingedWladyslawIII for sharing this on Reddit!
If you fancy a rather more… unpredictable game, then the ‘Free Wargoals’ setting in the custom game rules is what you are looking for.
This will enable all nations, of all ideologies, to justify wargoals whenever they please.
Have fun! 😉
10 minutes until the stream begins!
With the achievement selected, the only thing left to do is to choose which ideology we’ll be playing with:
You’ve voted, and today’s stream will be @addaway23 going after the ‘Huge-oslavia’ achievement!
To get this, we’ll need to occupy the land of all of our neighbours as Yugoslavia.
Tune in at 15:00 CEST!
Trying to hold off Germany as France when they go ‘Around Maginot’ can be a really tough challenge.
How do you do it? 40-width divisions kitted out with anti tank? Or perhaps lots of 10-widths to cycle in and out?
Taking part in the titanic Battle of Jutland in 1916, when Agincourt fired her full broadside the guns produced so much smoke and muzzle flash that several observers believed her to have exploded.
Surviving the war, Agincourt was broken up for scrap in the early 1920s.
On the outbreak of WW1 the Agincourt was seized by the British and commissioned into the Royal Navy.
Remarkably, she was armed with FOURTEEN 12-inch guns, making her the most heavily armed Dreadnought of all time by number of main battery guns.
HMS Agincourt was a unique British battleship that served with the Grand Fleet during World War 1.
Originally ordered from British shipyards by Brazil as ‘Rio de Janeiro’, she was bought by the Ottomans in 1913 while still being built.
Like last week, there won’t be a Dev Diary tomorrow, but there will be a stream at the earlier time of 3pm CEST!
Which achievement would you like to see us attempt?
See the descriptions for them here:
Here’s a challenge for you and a friend- Take Japan Communist and team up with Communist China to bring all of East Asia, and then the world, under your sway!
It’s Friday, which means its time for an Achievement challenge!
For ‘Once More Mate’, you need to control the Istanbul state as Australia.
