Then I don't know what is wrong. Because I bought the game on Day 1 in February 2018 and in the first months it all went fine. We did some boss runs and whenever we encountered players the odds were even - I did 16 kills and died 11 times so it was fine.

Then I took a break and ever since I have no actual chance to win a shootout anymore. No matter with which of my friends I team up. My stats now are 21 to 67. Considering I already had 16 kills back then it means my recent stats is 5/53 (this means I am currently dying 91% of the time we encounter other players)

I always thought it happens because we 10-30 hours playtime get matched to 1000+ hours playtime dudes. I don't know how you calculate skill? Does K/D ratio count in? But if newer players get wooped 91% of the time by hardcore pros then it means they probably won't stay for long.

It is elo based, so if you die a lot, sooner or later you will be facing "worse" players so it matches your skill level. It calculates pvp rating, we had a blog earlier explaining it on the Hunt website, please give it a read! https://www.huntshowdown.com/news/hunt-s-new-skill-based-matchmaking-system-explained

I thought skilled based match making was disabled a while ago.

That is not correct, it was never disabled! :) we have introduced some tweaks here and there, but that is it.

Oh okay, I didn't know that. But I think I have identified the biggest problem of the game's state. There is no skill based matchmaking. I found out I am going against prestiged players all the time while I am on my first play. So naturally I never win anything and it gets frustrating.

I guess that is why players are leaving the game right now. Every match is just pros playing against each other and newer players don't get a foot in the game.

The matchmaking is skill based. Therefore ranks or prestige ranks do not matter! :)

Can you please clarify whether this will include our statistics such as our K/D's etc etc?

Yes, it will include all user stats.

Does that also include the Book of Monsters?

Yes, it does. The Book of Monsters is a test run for us at the moment and we still plan on adjusting unlock requirements for 1.0 here and there. Also there will be some additional mechanics added to this, making a wipe of the unlocks for 1.0 a reasonable decision. We will talk about this further in one of the upcoming dev streams.

This is correct!

The agreement on Insider hub on Xbox, the agreement you accepted before downloading. Said something about recording pictures and images but I don’t remember what specifically.

It was an NDA for the Xbox Beta :)

With 1.0, we will wipe all stats except for Prestige levels. This ensures players will still receive their Prestige rewards they waited for during Early Access. So go play a lot and accumulate Prestige! :)

Before you ask, there will be more information about the type of rewards soon. :)

Fair point, but winning in QP usually earns you a number of upgrade points that you can then spend on the traits you like as you prepare for taking the new Hunter into Bounty Hunt missions. We wanted to focus the traits you receive from rifts to be useful to the player during that same round already where possible.

Comment

It's because of the limitation that there is only one tool and one consumable slot in QP. By adding a potential second slot, it bloats up and complicates the inventory management part unnecessarily. We wanted to keep this streamlined for Quick Play and therefore decided to avoid equipment-slot-changing traits.

We are still investigating stutter and stall issues for some players that would be very annoying to release to the public. Other than that 6.0 is good to go! We hope to have more news for you soon!

In the meantime, if you are experiencing any of the above on test server, please get in touch witj our community team to help us gather more data.

Thanks and sorry for the inconveniences the delay is causing! It’s very frustrating for us as well and we want you to enjoy 6.0 as soon as possible! :)

Same here, it's the originality and quality of gameplay and the love and devotion of Crytek that keeps me coming back for more of that sweet sweet pvpve gunslinging goodness.

It's honestly the best game I've played in about 10 years or so, truly an underrated and underappreciated wonder of a game.

Thank you, Hunter. Your words come to us as if a candle in the darkness.

It's a known issue. Should get fixed early next week. :)

We deployed an update today on test server that should fix this! Let us know, if you still got problems!

The Sparks is supposed to cause 149 damage to the upper chest, like before. Any video repro cases of this in 6.0 (test) would be very helpful for us! Please approach our community management, if you got any!

Cheers!

The Bomb Lance literally penetrates your skin and embeds itself deep inside your bowels, turning them inside out when it detonates. No surgeon in the world can get that thing out of your body in time.

You might ask what the reason is for team-mates being able to revive you?

Fair point!

No-one really understands the dark magic that is the revive ritual, but it somehow can reverse gunshot wounds and even the destructive power of a Bomb Lance explosive shredding your guts.

What wonderful and exciting times we live in! :D
