"Our primary goal is to ensure the pool of weapons in the game has a wide diversity. By diversity, we mean a range of popularity and efficiency for the weapons, and to make sure everything is fair. We need some time to see the effects of all the changes that came in this week's patch. Once we've determined what needs changing we'll have a balance patch soon after, probably by the end of next week.

We know the D-Tap is polarizing, and it can feel a bit oppressive when you're targeted by it. We're looking at how to make it less intense while still keeping it viable." - Thomas

"When creating the lore of Hyper Scape, we started with the idea of a virtual landSCAPE superposed on the real world where the user's senses and abilities would be heightened. We explored many names but HYPER SCAPE stuck, which is usually a good sign 🙂" - JC

Why sacrifice the uniqueness of HyperScape to get people to play this game by making it more like the other zero survivability FPS games? (ie Call of Duty and Destiny) I love the idea of TDM in HyperScape, I am making this point in regards to the changes that have been made to the overall gameplay and how this affects Crown Rush as well.

EDIT: The gameplay before the update would have made for a very exciting TDM that kept the uniqueness of HyperScape. Why couldn't there either be a different way to play TDM as far as settings and time to kill. Or just give us the previous settings to see what HyperScape would feel like with authentic gameplay in a TDM enviroment?

"We want to absolutely preserve the uniqueness of our game in terms of its fast pace and verticality, and we still believe this is a game that requires skill to master. To do that we have to make sure the game stays comfortable and accessible for fighting.   2. Not much of a question but a suggestion. In modes like TDM, we should be able to pick a loadout of weapons and hacks before the match starts. Items would still be spawning on the map, but they’d serve as item swaps and fusions.
  3. When will more maps be added to TDM? Soon or after it leaves beta?
  4. Are Solo, Duo, and Squad going to be the standard Crown Rush modes going forward?

"Starting next Tuesday you will be able to test a new TDM map, then another one the week after that. After that, when we reach our December update, we'll add the ability to randomly rotate all the maps. And we're looking at additional maps with that as well." - Thomas
