Patch v2.4 – Season 2 – Hotfix

Patch 2.4 goes live (seamless, no downtime) at 9am ET and introduces improvements on two pressing balancing topics, before the next major update on December 10th.

· Health Regen Trigger Delay: 10s (previously 15s)

Developer Notes: The health regeneration speed will be accelerated to create less pressure on health management in combat: It will now kick in after 10 seconds following the last damage received, instead of 15 seconds previously. Like any primary system change, this will affect all game modes, including Team Deathmatch.

There are definitely more maps coming! We've also taken note about wanting a higher kill goal. Do you have a specific number in mind?

We've just released an update of the ranking system in Patch 2.3, activating Ranking on Duo Crown Rush, and adding Rank Subdivisions. We intend to make the system more engaging and rewarding for players by adding Rank Rewards in a future update as well.

The loot pool is quite diluted. IF it’s possible perhaps clean it up and set it to 2 items per. also try to mirror the said loot spawns on either side of the map. That way you will remove item camping and promote map control instead.

One of my concerns with set weapon spawns was item camping, but this feels like a nice approach to help prevent that from happening as much. Regarding diluting the pool, one of the purposes for TDM was to help pla...

The 2 color team system is good. Just always make your team BLUE and the enemy team RED (orangey). I’ve noticed new players trying to shoot me because I have an orange pentagon above my head instead of a blue one. Just some food for thought.

Thanks for the feedback! A lot of other players have suggested the idea of adding preset loadouts you can pick to allow players to test out different weapon and hack combos. I've passed along the suggestion! Some have also discussed the idea of having a "killstreak" system where your fusion level would increase after a certain amount of kills. I think this is also a neat idea! It reminds me of gungame in CSGO. Thanks again!

Thanks for the suggestion! The team mentioned in our recent AMA that they are going to look into making the D-Tap not feel as oppressive as it feels right now. I think having a notification you are being locked on would be a nice touch!

You have to manually claim the BP points once the match is over. There should be a popup within the extension for you to claim the points.

Check your resolution scaling in your in-game settings! Make sure to set it to 100%. A few others mentioned this fixed their issue for them.

There shouldn't have been any adjustments to the run speed. Do you think it may just be FPS dropping? Which platform do you play on?

I appreciate you sharing your concerns. Regarding your question about cross-play, we mentioned in our AMA earlier this week that crossplay is soft-launching on December 10th. PS and XB players will be able to matchmake into each other. In addition, PC players will be able to squad up with console friends via Squad Invites. However, any squad that has a PC player in it will be played on PC lobbies currently.
