Hey! I've reported this error message to the team. I recommend removing the screenshot/post since it does contain personal information.

I suggest uninstalling that version of Hyper Scape and reinstalling through this link. To clarify, did you play Hyper Scape during the Tech Test/Open Beta phase? Where did you install Hyper Scape from originally?

It really should shine close quarters and be terrible at range IMO. If you take a komodo on with a riot in close quarters you should get deleted, but the opposite should be true as well. My only input is i think the effective range of the splash damage weapons is too large.

As I mentioned in the comment above I think all these things are on the table, but for the moment we want to see where we land after our next update on the 18th. Thanks for the constructive feedback!

It still makes it a good finisher if it deals small damage, but spamming the rockets without aiming is less of a problem here.

Good feedback! Yeah I think things like this are certainly on the table for consideration. Balance is always ongoing, and we'll see where we land with the changes coming in the November Update (note: this blog post is just highlights, not ALL the changes).

Among the good playerbase (Hyper Sweat.. etc..), using Komodo is viewed as being toxic (for a valid reason). I was a regular Komdo user before de 2.1 patch (I'm still 4th in total kills overall, was 2nd before). I can't use it now because it is unfair and still overpowered.

Thanks to this awesome community, most players don't use the gun for the same reason.

Yep agreed with you, data doesn't ever tell the whole story (not that i said it did). The team uses the following inputs for their balancing decisions: player feedback, user research, and gameplay data. Whenever possible it's not driven off of just one of those facets.

Part of the reason my team has a job is because the devs know they can't work only based off of data, specifically because data can never show things like context, or frustration/annoyance.

But in terms of what Thomas was referring to with "fixed" it was the error in the 2.1 radius change to Komodo which was indeed fixed in 2.2.

In terms of our gameplay data since the 2.2 patch, Komodo has indeed fallen into the middle of the pack in terms of damage, kills, and popularity.
