I think this is a smart approach, I truly think it is a more nuanced and layered problem than many think of just "NERF THE HEX!"

Not only due to aim acceleration (which I know the team is looking at), but with aim assist as well as you say (which I think doesn't behave as well as it can in CQB - that's just my 2 cents though.)

I can only imagine the complex interplay between those two systems and how that impacts the overall effectiveness of weapons.

I think with that input control cleared up a bit, us console folks will have a better sense of the Hex and where it truly lies.

I work weekends so you'll see me around :P

I definitely agree that it is more of a layered issue than just a simple straight nerf issue, which is why the team is being cautious with it.

We are definitely being careful with approaching this topic! From what I've noticed, the root source of the issue appears to be related to aim acceleration and aim assist. We are keeping an eye on these types of discussion as well as data. I think it would be something to check back into once the aim acceleration has been fixed.

I suggest checking in with Ubisoft Support with your Xbox name and Twitch username to ensure they are linked properly. They should be able to help you with your missing content :D

About FOV:

We're looking into what it takes to implement an FOV slider on console. We've seen all of the comments across the console community about this topic and we know it's important to you. There is significant work to adding it, so we're looking at how to approach that currently - Graeme

It's a reported bug! If you happen to have a clip of what happened before you got the bug, it would be super helpful to help the team try to reproduce the bug.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! As for aiming on console:

We are planning to add new settings to allow the player to choose a linear response curve and disable the acceleration that currently exists for all controller players. The work is being done now and will come soon. This will be a first step and we'll look at ways to improve it more in the future. - Thomas
