Hey! Here's what we touched on in the AMA yesterday:
We are planning to add new settings to allow the player to choose a linear response curve and disable the acceleration that currently exists for all controller players. The work is being done now and will come soon. This will be a first step and we'll look at ways to improve it more in the future. - Thomas
I love the crown mechanic
It’s just not well implemented.
I think they’ll find a sweet spot eventually. Right now it’s pretty shit lol
Maybe 1 in 5 crown spawns are engaging. The rest are just dumb.
What else do you think needs to change about the Crown mechanic?
During the Open Beta/Tech Test, players used to be able to run way out into the Decay because it didn't do nearly as much damage as it does now and spam hacks more frequently than they can currently. The Crown Bearer already has increased cooldowns on Hacks used.

Yes, this is one of the Crowncast Extension Events that plays. Listen out for the sound queues that an event is about to start and there will be an icon in the top right of your screen with a timer indicating when the event will end. Lethal Melee is the newest one which makes a melee hit 1-shot for a short period of time.
