This first week is really going to be focused on serious bug fixes for missions, performance, and connectivity. Because of the speed we need to work for that, new features gets bumped a little. So sadly no eta but definitely not this week so we can allow fixes to get out fast

For us this has been an amazing and full-on launch weekend - full of both highs and lows.

We had over 50,000 concurrent players on Sunday, up there alongside other popular Steam games like Dead by Daylight, Terraria and ARK.

However, many people have let us know in the reviews that the game just didn’t work well enough for them to enjoy it - and that’s not good enough for us. If people couldn’t connect or run the game with acceptable performance to even try the game out, then we need to remedy that.

Targeting daily updates Through launch weekend we produced three hotfixes immediately to address some of the key bugs that had presented with the launch. Through our first week we will be continuing this process and aiming for daily updates.

3:26 AM Seeing a lot of errors in the logs. No clear idea of what cause is yet. SQL showed a sudden spike preceeding event. Then returned to normal. Not outright down, but degraded to the point everything times out. More to follow.

3:33 AM Im giving the engineer space to work, but he told me he has restarted everything and that might help things while he investigates the problem. I'll give him the space he needs, report to you when I can. I have now loaded successfully into a prospect.

3:38 AM okay im kicked from the prospect, like others, after loosing connection. Engineer is investigating. Restart didn't fix it, so needs to take a close look at it. Tough work for him so I'm giving him space - sorry folks - only can be patient now I know thats not easy.

Long Update Validation Times Regrettably, some users experience long periods of "validation" after Steam has downloaded even a small update. This is not to do with the download size but is due to how the Unreal Engine data is packaged and how Steam’s updates are distributed. We're talking with Steam and Epic about ways to improve this. We will limit our updates to important fixes and not do them too regularly, although in our launch week we plan to do them almost daily.

Verify your Updated Files to prevent crashes After you update the game, use the "Verify Game Files" option to check your game files. A number of players are reporting Steam did not correctly apply the updates, causing their game to crash. Please note we have no control over how Steam applies updates. We have reached out to Valve about the issue.

We are still only scratching the surface of what "session" can mean, as we learn about the game and what its capable of being. Session doesn't have to mean "short". it's about choosing world parameters and (maybe) a purpose.

We want to substantially expand (and maybe rework how it works) the solo tree so that is many different trees, and improve the ability for players to complete the missions solo. Maybe even missions that are ONLY solo. Etc...

Agreed - the solo play needs work. It is absolutely something we want to expand upon a great deal more. Hopefully with some of the updates coming this week.

There's a lot I really like here, its late and I need to sleep so I'll unpack it all later. But I absolutely love the lootables idea. I'm going to discuss it tomorrow. I'll reply more later after I've had a sleep.
