Thank you all for the reports on this issue, the information has been vital for working out a solution.

The core of the issue seems to be tied to having a character whose quest state pre-patch was at the “Enter the Sanctum Bastille” objective or further in the “Ruined Temple” quest, yet did not have access to the new versions of the Temple of Eterra zones beyond the Lotus Halls via waypoint or otherwise.

We have created a failsafe such that being in the Lotus Halls with the “Enter the Sanctum Bastille” objective either active or completed will automatically open access to the next zone and register the new events in the Lotus Halls as completed. This failsafe is planned to be included in an upcoming hotfix.

We appreciate your patience as always and appreciate the finding and reporting of issues like this. Thank you.

First, I would like to thank you for your support. I recognize a lot of factors are weighed up when one decides whether to buy an Early Access game, particularly in cases where it is the first game developed by an indie studio. We really do greatly appreciate your early support.

When people buy Last Epoch through Steam, they should automatically be granted the full contents of the $35 Ardent Gladiator supporter pack. I have personally taken the responsibility for checking each of the items included in this package to see whether it was available to you - and in cases where it was not, manually assigned it to your account.

Please accept my sincere apology for this.

I’ve been discussing this situation with other members of our team, and we should be getting all instances of this problem resolved within the next week. The solution we are working towards is having all instances of players being directed towards our support team linking to our new support site, which will be available at https://support.lastepoch.com when it has been launched. We are unfortunately unable to assist in any way with refund requests in cases where the purchase is not made from us directly. It is up to other companies to decide their own refund policies and whether a particular transaction meets the refund policies that they offer.

Generic damage multipliers in skill trees such as ‘more damage’ aren’t specific to hits, unless saying so. They scale the damage of Dots as well.

We’re monitoring and making adjustments constantly over the past week. When there is a spurt of downtime we’ve been able to get it back up within the hour each time so far.

Again apologies for the inconvenience, especially for you new players just getting the chance to hop in, and the team really appreciates the patience you guys have shown as we address the issues that have cropped up.
