Hello Travelers,
As we approach the end of the year, I’d like to share with you what our plans and progress are for multiplayer in Last Epoch. Eleventh Hour Games has been hard at work in developing server-authoritative multiplayer that will bring you, your friends, and other Travelers together in your adventures through Eterra. While we are still months away from having this available to the public, we are making great progress and are excited about the mix of social systems we have planned.
Our core goal for multiplayer is to ensure that the world of Eterra feels alive. You will encounter other players from your server in hub zones like the End of Time, Heoborea, and the Bazaar. You will be able to form parties, check out gear, show off your loot, chat and make new friends.
You will be able to form parties of up to 4 players which will scale the difficulty of your team’s enemies. A cooperative party will be more formidable, but a disorganized...
Read moreThanks, it does sound like it might be running out of memory. We are working to reduce the memory used by Epoch and have some ways to do that which are still being worked on.
I don’t have a specific fix that will guaranteed work for you but you can try a few things.
Does this happen with all characters? Some skills are much less performant than others. For example, Avalanche is a very bad offender that could actually cause an issue like this. We know why it’s happening and have a fix coming down the pipe that will resolve skill based issues like this. I would start by changing your skills and see if that helps. (unlikely but it’s worth a shot)
You can try resetting graphics to defaults by deleting or moving your le_graphicsmanager.ini file this is also a stretch but I’ve seen it fix issues like this before so I’d say it’s worth a shot.
I know it takes longer but doing a file check through steam or a full on game reinstall might be worth a shot too.
After that I would open up task manager while playing and keep an eye on your memory usage and see if specific actions cause it to spike.
I’m sorry I don’t have a more clear ...
Read moreIt’s really tough to recover a broken save from crash. There should be a backup character save in your save folder that you can rename to be the normal one and it might work, Just remove the _temp from the end of the file name.

to
1CHARACTERSLOT_BETA_27
Would restore the backup version of character save 27. I’m not sure which one is the broken one and that’s a little trickier to figure out. I would sort by date modified to try and find the newest one.
saves are located in C:\Users\username\AppData\LocalLow\Eleventh Hour Games\Last Epoch\Saves
I would try moving your le_graphicsmanager.ini file in C:\Users\username\AppData\LocalLow\Eleventh Hour Games\Last Epoch
to a backup location and try starting the game up again. It should auto generate a new default one that could fix issues like this.
Hi @desrocchi,
Thanks for the report!
Please reach out to our team directly, as we’re looking into this and would like to ask you for more information if you’re willing to help us to further investigate this. Thanks!
Excellent, thanks!
Just wanted to make sure.
Thanks for the report!
Could I ask whether you have the unique shield Rahyeh’s Light equipped?
Confirmed: I’m removing these non-functional UI elements for now.
Thanks again.
I believe I’ve identified the cause for this.
I’ll need to discuss this with other engineers. We want the Ladder page available again soon, and I don’t think we’d be willing to delay that to fix this. If it’s not a quicker issue to fix than I suspect, we’ll likely remove the search button for now. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Thank you for the report! We’ve found a likely fix for this issue.
Thanks! This has been fixed internally.

Fixed.
Thanks again for the report.
Yes. It no longer rolls on bows, not because it was overpowered, but because the affix is balanced for 2h melee weapons which have a higher affix effectiveness than bows, because of this its value on bows couldn’t get close to 50% and so it couldn’t act as a viable alternative to crit avoidance.
Looks like it just didn’t make it into the patch. I’ve made a note of this.
This is already fixed in this patch, I just placed it under the wrong heading. No other updates to offer at this time.
