Thanks, we’ll look into this. In the meantime, I did some initial testing and found that taking Aura of Retribution caused Aura of Life’s effect to start working.
The Thorn Shield bug is known, but we haven’t worked on a fix yet. I’m not sure if we can fix the first bug you describe with Frenzy Totem, but the second bug is new and we’ll look into a fix.

...The clients are completely indepedent of each other. If you use the standalone client and don’t buy the game on Steam, there is no reason to link your Steam and Last Epoch accounts.
