This is the currently expected behaviour, but it will be changed in future.
You shouldn’t need to fight through the same content multiple times, however. Between Waypoints and the ability to travel back to where you had been after portaling to town, it should be possible to play through the entirety of the campaign without killing many enemies more than once. Are you regularly portaling to town, or playing across a large number of relatively short sessions (e.g. 10 minutes her,e 15 minutes there) ?
The video you link to is of a character leaving town to enter an adjoining zone. That zone has a Waypoint, so I’m not sure why you’d be entering the zone from there each time. When you’ve fully invetigated the zone, do you not move onto the next one? I’m just finding it a little hard to follow exactly what’s happening here; it isn’t feedback I’ve seen before.

We’re bringing Shrines to Last Epoch!
Shrines are magical constructs found in the world that can be activated by clicking on them. They have a variety of exciting effects - such as summoning enemies for you to fight, spawning temporary allies to assist you in combat, and granting powerful, time-limited buffs.
Shrines can only be activated once. Activating a Shrine is optional; it is possible to simply walk past one without clicking on it. A Shrine may be more dangerous than it initially seems.
The Shrines from each era have their own unique model. Additionally, their appearance will update when they are activated, and again when their duration expires. We’ve posted the concept art for each of these models below. Which one’s your favourite?

Temporal Reaving is actually reducing the damage over time enemies take, this will be corrected in 0.7.7.
Thanks. I’m not sure what the cause of this is but I’ve made a note of it. The node is currently granting 5% leech on crits rather than the stated 4%.
Hi! Unfortunately I still can’t reproduce this issue just by having Marrow Eater, so I think there’s a particular interaction that’s broken. Can you please post a screenshot of all of your skill trees and passives, plus any uniques you have? Once I know your exact build I can try to find what’s causing the issue. A log file from a session where the exploit occured would also help.
A list of timestamps for your VOD would work instead of screenshots-- I can’t reasonably skim through the whole thing to find where you showcase things.
