Resolved - In-game chat has been re-enabled. Patch notes are available, here: https://forums.mtgarena.com/forums/threads/66434 Players may need to restart their client for in-game chat to become available. For all other issues, please contact support.

Update - Players can add/remove or send friend requests, however in-game chat remains disabled at this time. Direct Challenges remain unaffected.

Bug Fixes

  • Players should no longer be able to swap to uncollected versions of the Core Set 2021 Mastery Pass pet.
  • The deckbuilder should no longer inappropriately show up when attempting to view the "table/pod" during a Player Draft
  • Players should no longer experience hard crashes when playing MTG Arena in non-English languages.
  • Greatly reduced the frequency of players experiencing "black screens" when transitioning between scenes (e.g. exiting a match, navigating between the Store and Home, etc.)
  • Added additional in-game messaging when players experience additional loading time in-between scenes.

Developer's Note: The “black screen” issues players are encountering are a result of longer-than-normal transition times between scenes. These come from a variety of sources, and this update fixes some, but not all of those. Som...

Now that's where we have another problem. Few days ago I had problem with endless "checking for updates" bug and tried to submit bug report. Guess what? Couldn't do that. Every time I tried clicked on Submit button it would just hang up there almost same way as the game was hanging on checking for updates screen.

That might be because the files you were submitting were too large. We very recently increased the file size limit, so that should prevent this from happening going forward.

Same thing happened to me with 3 packs. Black screen, so I re-load. Back in, and no packs.
Still waiting on a reply / resolution.

If you're having a problem that someone else posted, give it a "like". No need to post again. Please don't post "same" since it doesn't help and really clutters the thread. If you can, please submit your issue with logs on our bug forum!

I did not get a pack from the purchase I made from the deals section in the store or from the mastery pass. I know there’s a bug section to report but I can’t figure out how to use it. There have been so many bugs in the past where I tried to spend time reporting them and I just gave up.
