That's what we initially suspected as well, but in seeing what's happened since disabling the feature it's becoming more likely that the two things are unrelated. We have a hotfix planned for next week that should hopefully address the problem.

The team is watching the Gold economy closely, especially with release of Teal Gear. I'll be asking them regularly about the Gold economy and if it's on par with our expectations. If there are further infusions it would likely come through methods similar to how we already recently increased accessibility instead of through the Gold orbs.

We are getting some reports of this but they came in later than the other topics. The team is investigating these reports and I'll make an announcement when I have updates.

I mean, announcing it here isn't the best job of doing that. We did look at those profiles and they are legit.

That's interesting. In looking at this from all sides: is there ever an instance in which you wouldn't want for this to happen by default? I wouldn't want to annoy some players that would find this cumbersome.

I agree, especially because I love reading the dialogue the missions team writes for the stories. I know the team was talking about it but there isn't anything to share just yet.

People might start working in video games because they think it's fun but you don't stay in video games unless you have a passion for it because it's immensely stressful - as are most jobs in the overarching entertainment industry. I've been working in the video game industry for well over a decade and there are many, many days where I've been an emotional wreck. Fortunately I work in a studio where my contributions are valued and I wouldn't be here if they weren't. I wouldn't expect for you to know what goes on behind the scenes; the number of times where I've risked relationships with my colleagues to die on the hill for the community. But man, to say I only care about collecting a paycheck isn't accurate or cool. I'm flesh and blood, just like you. I play the game every day, just like you. I get frustrated sometimes, just like you. And I care about the health of the game and community, just like you.

Here are some issues and topics we are tracking in relation to the release of version 5.7.

Fixed:

• The monthly login calendar wasn’t active on time for players in certain time zones - the calendar has been extended by one day to ensure all players can get all the rewards
• Occasionally, a slot of Teal Gear would be missing from the Gold Supplies Store
• Sabretooth’s ultimate ability was attacking enemies with the Stealth buff

Will be addressed with a hotfix, version 5.7.1, coming soon:

• When Phoenix dies due to an assist or bonus attack, she isn’t summoning Dark Phoenix
• In Alliance War, an Anomaly Detected error occurs when trying to move a team into one of the new slots that is using the default defense teams/characters
