Friendly melee hits no longer flinch parry
I am astonished anyone thought having friendly fire flinch parries was a good idea. Good you changed that back.
Nobody thought it was a good idea, it wasn't intended.

Thanks for this hotfix.
Will you work on optimization about the new map ?
Yup. This is the first hotfix, so we didn't want to hold it up with map fixes. It's coming!
Patch 17, Hotfix 1 is out! This update mainly addresses Horde crashing, Toolbox placement issues and some small miscellaneous bug fixing. We're still monitoring feedback and finding areas to improve. https://steamcommunity.com/games/629760/announcements/detail/2121699291609422161

I'm curious, was change to toolbox just to deal with invisibility glitch? Was there really no other way bandaid that exploit like forcing people to reload a guy leaving a ballista?
This was initially a panic fix. We thought we fixed the invisibility glitch, but it turned out it was still possible, and we knew we were going to have to ship, so this was the first step. The invisibility glitch turned out to be fairly complicated, but we managed to squash it before release regardless, so the clipping restrictions were a bit overboard. The invisibility glitch was due to a peculiarity with the engine dealing with scale, and if someone built the ballista while out of sight, the ballista construction animation never played, and if he got onto that ballista and left it, he was left at a miniscule scale of around 0.01%. So technically nobody was ever invisible, just really, really small.
Bug causing the server to crash. Will be addressed in the hotfix.
Just fixed this for the upcoming hotfix, thanks for reporting it!
We're fixing it in the hotfix, along with other things, no worries!
Maybe I understood it wrong, but isn't this the fix for that bug?
Partially, but you could also use the toolbox to clip into the map very easily, so it was related to it.
The reason why it was changed is because learning to chamber everything is a bad idea, and the training sword wasn't actually useful in learning how to fight. You were building bad habits by using it and relying on chambers.
We had to tweak some conditions for placement due to the invisibility bug, but we're looking into some further tweaks to make it more useful now :)
Looking good man. Big fan as always. Is there any Roadmap or way to know whats coming in the future? Very curious! Cant Wait to try the new map
Right now we're just focused on post update polish and getting some hotfixes out, but once things settle down we'll talk and try to get a roadmap put together.
Jax I know the community has been impatient and rude to y’all, but I still want to let you know we love you guys and appreciate the hard work you put into this amazing game. :)
thanks :)
Added Crown wearable
Have you guys seen it? I'm not finding it in the options.
sorry guys, we shouldn't have left this in the notes. The crown/crowned barbutes are for the winners of the Venatus tournament.

External link →Out of context, we allow people to spam when we're in meetings but once they were told post-meeting to stop spamming, they kept spamming. Bans were handed out for racism (posting nazi flags, using emojis to spell out slurs, etc.) Mutes were for people who kept spamming after being told to stop. I called a single dude an idiot for posting a nazi flag.
We opened up a spam room on the discord today, since people didn't understand the concept of not spamming out mordhau_general, the room people go to for updates on when the patch will come, and mordhau_feedback.
Speaking of when, the test today went well. It just ended up going a little late, and we don't want to be trying to squash launch issues at 4am. Our server tech will also have to upload the new server build to the servers, which can take a bit of time, so we decided to push the patch a little further. HOPEFULLY tomorrow, but if not it will most likely be sometime this week.
tldr - patch will come when i...
Lmao community manager calling his playerbase idiots 10/10 pr
guy posted a nazi flag and then deleted it, thinking i wouldn't see it, said guy is an idiot
They shouldn't be finding blocking bugs on launch day. They clearly lack a testing/quality cycle that works well.
They should know how to follow a decent SDLC.
Also, they shouldn't do giant patches, this patch should've been 3 separate ones imo
it was never a launch day, it was a testing day
I have a 1070, I'll check. I've heard about this but haven't noticed it before.
