Hi there!

Thanks for the great feedback. I'll try to improve these systems and fix the bugs you describe.

Regarding making entities stay in one place, you can issue a hold current position order with 'C', or a hold position at point order with 'V' and click where you want them to stay put.

Regarding the entities not equipping the individual uniform item, did they have a higher priority uniform taking precedence? Also, were they in the same room as the item?

Do you have them in an animal enclosure as well? The animal enclosure has the mating job.

It sounds like the water block you are designating on isn't accessible because it's probably at the bottom of a cliff. Entities can only climb up one block high, so make sure there is a path down to the water you're designating on. You might need to build a ladder or stairway down to the water.

Apples and coconuts are a bit broken atm. It's on my list of fixes for the Ardyn update. I am slow to get to it as there's a lot of tuning stuff I'm focused on right now. Sorry for the issue!

Hey there!

Yep! A lot of props such as containers are obstacles now. You can see if a block is an obstacle on the tooltip by holding CTRL.

I'll test this out this week and see if I can fix up some of that behaviour. Thank you so much for the detailed explanation. It seems they just get fixated on some other target way off, somehow missing the check for closest/most important entities. I'll take a look.

A couple things are planned:
Town Hall - Lets you ring a warning bell to have all the non-militia go to it, and all the militia go to their Guard Posts. It will also provide some leadership stuff, but that's not really related to the alarm stuff.
Guard Post - Where militia stand guard and patrol.

The idea of a safe room is cool. Maybe the town hall could have options to designate these.

There's no official support yet. I've heard that it plays well on the Steam Deck, but I've not tested myself. If I didn't have so much on my plate, I'd work on that now. Hope to add official support sooner rather than later.

Ah, ok. So, when you have, say, seeds selected as a category, you'd expect only seed items to show up in the item prohibition section?

As for props/containers, no, they cannot be moved right now. It's something on my list of to-dos.

Sleep and the Tavern are the best ways to increase happiness, but I have some tuning coming in tomorrow. The happiness stuff is pretty new, so it's a bit off balanced.
