Either I'm an idiot (high possibility), or it was broken but it's fixed now. I downloaded it this morning and the latest version came down. I was not aware I could run the Steam .exe offline. I have a Steam and a GOG license. It's a great chill game for me to play on a laptop when traveling. Sorry for the confusion and the bitchy tone of my now deleted previous message. Now back to my retirement.

Update the copy on GOG please. Or take it down and give me my money back please. Not meaning to throw you under the bus, you did reply to my email in November and committed to getting it updated. I want to be able to play the game without an Internet connection while at my cabin, that's why I bought the GOG license.
Hmmm, I definitely updated them last year, and am downloading the correct version (0.11.0.23) when I download via GoG. I assure you, I am not avoiding updating GoG, and am happy to try and resolve this issue. Are you playing on Win, Mac, or Linux? Maybe there's something funky going on with the installer on those platforms I can look into.
As for playing offline, you don't need an internet connection to play. Whether you got the game from Steam, Itchio, or GoG, you can play by just running the executable from the location you installed it to.
That said, if it continues to have troubles, you should be able to request a refund through GoG. I have zero control over refunds.
