Is no one going to talk about how this Twitch streamer said "Hang irl n-word [censored]."
Edit: He also later stated "Hang on a Tree."
This man should be permanent banned on all accounts for this disgusting, despicable language. This kind of speech has absolutely no place in this game and is deeply upsetting.
Jagex, you have an obligation to send a message regarding these kinds of things. This is not ordinary flame. This vile and violent hate speech.
This guy isn't a big streamer, but he still has 2.3K followers. Please send a message. This is not ok.
I will pass it on to the moderation team this morning, however if you see it in game please also report it using the in-game report tool so it's picked up in their official work queues.
Why is nobody mentioning the fact that at the bottom they said they're moving next weeks update to wednesday to "allow for more time". Releasing an update a day early is the opposite of more time.
The allow for more time is for the upgrading of the in-house tools, not for the game update itself. Hope that clarifies!
The aim of these changes is to prevent certain groups from profiteering from Revenant Caves by forcing players to pay protection fees to enjoy the content. As we said before, we’ll be monitoring the popularity of the Revenant Caves closely and making further changes as necessary.
Can you explain this? I don't see how these changes reduce the ability of clans to control it -- unless you think killing it as an activity will therefore kill the clans controlling it? (I don't necessarily think reducing loot 20% will do that - but I also don't think this will impact clanning at all... PVMers risk the same).
We have chosen to make it slightly less profitable so it is less appealing to gold farmers and clans holding the areas down. While this isn't a massive nerf we will continue to monitor it closely and make any changes following the update as we have stated in the blog.
Edit: Silly golfers
/u/JagexAcorn that would be a question for <- the next Q/A no idea. Maybe a progressive system where completing parts of the town unlock another etc. Like you've completed this quest in Morytania, the general store can expand.
I'll add it to the Q&A document for next week though I will not be hosting the stream that week unfortunately as I'll be on holiday. Hopefully Sween asks it! -fingers crossed-
Will the sack act like the gem bag where you can store different planks at once? Or are we limited to one kind at a time. Just curious if that came up in talks or not. Content seems very interesting!
Hi there, good question! Yes it will allow you to store different planks with a maximum storage space of 28 in total. Had any specific set ups in mind you would be going for? Happy future building!
Awesome design. Is there an ETA on when this may be released (totally not asking cause I'm mid 99 cons grind)? u/JagexAcorn
No current ETA just yet though if you have other skills to work on in the meantime I'd suggest that! We will be sure to keep you all posted on progress made so you can save your fingers from spam clicking.
What's so bad about getting an acorn? >:|
Have you ever considered changing name to JagexOakSeed? Asking for a friend.
Nice idea, hope there are some more rewards than what is listed. Plank sack seems kind of useless with butlers though, unless they have a significant use in this new content.
The sack would be mainly useful for this particular activity. Since you unfortunately won't have a butler helping you repair fellow Gilenorian homes, the sack will help hold planks for you so you can do the activity without banking as much (though some banking will still most likely be required).
Can we get xp rates estimates before we have to vote? Those are a big deal when polling skilling content
I've added this question to our Q&A livestream for tonight :)
Love the idea of the equippable saw. Having less clutter in the inventory is great and hope to see more equippables in the future.
I plan on bopping loads of goblins with that bad boy not gonna lie.
Looks great! I'd love a way to train that's different from build and then remove door ten thousand times
You're building doors? I've been doing tables! Have I been doing it wrong this whole time??? Seriously though, glad you like it :)
Looks pretty cool. This seems like it'd be a great opportunity to introduce redwood planks. Any plans on that?
No current plans though it was brought up in the design phase of this particular activity. We do want to introduce a better use of redwood logs in the future though making them into planks would be a chunky rework of the entire skill in terms of furniture, uses, etc.
