Crusaders!

A new patch 1.3.0k is here!

Highlights:

  • Interacting with the puzzle elements during the “Secrets of Creation” quest should be more comfortable now;
  • Breaking out of the Icy Prison got easier;
  • We’ve clarified the descriptions of some mythic abilities;
  • Treat Affliction requires consumables now—look for the First Aid kits!
  • Covenant of the Inheritor got the useful properties it was supposed to have, and stopped turning off all the time;
  • In the end of the Inevitable Excess DLC, you will see new epilogue slides and hear the narrator!
  • We optimized a number of visual effects, which should help the performance.

N.B., if you use mods, please update them before you start playing the game! Mods that worked fine with earlier versions may break your game after the game updates.

Didn't hear of any similar issues before. Do you use any mods and did you report this via ALT+B in-game?

As far as Pathfinder: Kingmaker is concerned, the Enhanced Edition was a free upgrade for all existing players.

Gonna be the same as for Kingmaker here.

As long as the content is good, what's the problem? If anything, when devs stop making stuff for games, people tend to go "omg, it's abandoned". That also seems silly to me. It's not abandoned, it's just finished. Still, if people want more content for their games, it seems reasonable to be expected to pay for that since making content isn't free.

Back in the day, instead of season passes, you got expansions. I don't remember anyone ever being mad that devs made more than one expansion for a game. People weren't like "Wow, you sold me this extra 30 hours of gameplay for 20 bucks and then you made another 30 hours for another 20 bucks? OUTRAGEOUS!"

My main problem with with the Pathfinder season pass, and the reason I'm not buying it, is that they aren't making the type of content I want. I'm not interested in small, disconnected stories and I'm definitely not interested in more puzzles. But I'm not mad they're making it.

If each season pass was more like an...

Lol I put 700hrs in this game and only beating it for the first time now. Good thing there is so much content and so many mythic paths, I know that they are not all completely realized but looks like they're going to address that. Looks I will be breaking the 1k hrs mark for sure!

Thank you Owlcat!

Happy you enjoyed it :) There's still much more to explore!

Hopefully some extra new Mythic paths, new joinable/romanceable NPCs and more Commander story content.

Extending and polishing late mythic paths should be handled by a large upgrade patch. Maybe the one to Enhanced edition if not before that. Same with adding more content to act 5 and 6 which are damn small. Nenio's quest in act 5 is longer than most other stuff in that act put together. So those who are either not fond of Nenio or of the Puzzles in Enigma are bound to be disappointed.

Some existing NPCs could also get some more content IMO. Especially Camellia who got so few endings when compared to Daeran or Aru. And Galfrey who could get some more romance/side quests/story content to flesh her out a bit more.

It would also be amazing if we got to play even a bit in post Worldwound content when Areelu was defeated/redeemed. Pretty much what they were promising in the first DLC which did not turn out to be true.

What would I give to see how powerful...

Additional mythic path is unlikely, rather, you'll see content for the existing ones, specially including the late mythics. We want them to feel more developed and interesting, and chapter 5 indeed needs some meat as many of you asked lots of times :) There's going to be some neat UI changes as well.

We can’t wait to let you try to survive in the Through the Ashes DLC for Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous! Here are some interesting facts about it:
1) You will be playing a simple citizen, and it will be extremely hard to arm and defend yourself;
2) Rope is your best friend!
3) Every enemy can end your life, but there might be a way to avoid the fight;
4) Food and medicine are scarce in the burning city, so count yourself lucky if you find it!
You will be able to test your survival skills starting this Thursday.

This is a really, really annoying bug that I wish Owlcat acknowledged and fixed in 1.3, but as far as I know nothing's been said on it.

It applies to basically every piece of worn equipment - potions, scrolls, weapons. Makes playing a smaller race as your MC (including Dwarf!) really annoying, half the time I can't even see my Dwarf MC behind his giga-sized Greataxe, it looks ridiculous. It's like the game gets confused and uses Large or Huge sized weapon models instead of small ones.

Maybe I'll try my luck and ping u/OwlcatStarrok?

I've marked it for investigation. Not sure about 1.3 though.
