Beyond QoL fixes, they haven't said anything about actually making it fun or not nonsensically OP towards mage generals.
A huge chunk of balancing and some QoL for Crusade is coming soon in a major update.

Lack of immunity looks like a bug. Please report it via ALT+B.
What difficulty are they on?
Normal. Many of them are first-time players that go blind.
still sad about jocat
Us too, that was really unfortunate.
From what I read from the Steam gamepass page it feels like you will be pulled into this dlc conflict right before the final ending happens maybe just before closing the worldwound. Atleast that's what I interpreted from the page. I am not a native English speaker so I could have misinterpreted something as well.
Also due to the secret ending this could be a more likely case than getting a timeskip after the end of the current game.
Correct, it's an additional story that takes place just before the final ending.
Can we see the builds for the three victors?
There will be interviews with top participants, yes, closer to the end of the challenge. It's still 2 and a half weeks until the end, and completion time is just a third tiebreaker after beating the game and doing as many quests as possible :) So more of them still have chance.
It's wednesday and a new update for #TheLastAzlantiChallenge!
We're beyond the middle point!
A hot competition was finally resolved as Old Man Mordaith didn't manage to surpass Amm0ni's result, finishing the game with the same 132 quests, but taking 11 more hours to do it.
Will others be able to make it?
Right. It’s clear that pirating the game is the way to have it actually be playable, then.
I’m sure that decision won’t backfire on the studio at all. Great forward-thinking.
Major problems introduced by new patches are usually hotfixed within 24 hours.
For those using GOG, there's an in-built way to revert to previous patch, and there have been occasions where we offered previous versions on Steam in the past if the introduced issue was impossible to solve quickly.
As an option, you may turn off automatic updates and use offline mode in Steam to circumvent patching completely.
I would also like to remind that pirating games is an illegal procedure.
Hey u/owlcatstarrok Can we please get beta builds on steam now, since the last two updates have introduced major game-breaking bugs?
It’s weird that owlcat refuses to give players the ability to roll back while we wait for them to fix things.
Do you/they not realize how easy it is to do steam beta branches? It doesn’t take long at all.
There are certain workflow specifics that prevent it for minor patches like the few recent ones. For large patches there will be open betas some days/weeks prior.
Each update brings new bugs that break things, sometimes entire acts of the game, yet they refuse to upload older versions to steam's beta branches so people can keep playing versions that are stable for them. They also completely ignore all the requests from people to add them.

As things stand the best way to get a playable experience is to pirate the game. Paying customers are getting screwed.
That's unlikely for minor patches due to certain workflow specifics.
For large patches we plan to launch open betas.
It's a bug. Should be fixed in the next patch.

External link →I've noticed a lot of skill checks seemingly not being sure if it wants to use my teams best or just main character. Has this been fixed? - couldn't quite see it in the notes :)
Should be, as far as I'm aware. If you notice any inconsistencies, please report it via ALT+B.
