  • AreaLevel is huge. It's much more reliable than droplevel and allows highlighting currencies and gems, only while leveling. Things like starter-gems will never be hidden again, no matter the strictness.

  • Continue is a gamechanger, when it comes to filter-making. It adds nothing new, but makes things much more elegant and allows more control for custom styles, aspects and advanced constructs. FilterBlade will benefit from it greatly as well!

  • In short I'm excited for these changes (especially since I've been suggesting/asking those). Most of these are rather easy to integrate into my filters and will find their uses!

  • You'll likely see use of all of these commands in 3.10. "Continue" is a tricky one to bring to www.FilterBlade.xyz , ...

Thank you for your detailed suggestions! Sorry I couldn't implement everything you wanted, but hopefully there's enough here to keep you busy for a little while.

The linked sockets rework was mostly QoL but was also necessary to support multiple Abyss/Delve socket matching, i.e. "Sockets AA" and "Sockets DDDD" which couldn't work with SocketGroup since Abyss/Delve sockets are not linked.

(also, for anyone reading this still wondering what Delve sockets are, it just means Resonators)

We've put together a small tidbit of information about Sirus encounters for you to peruse at your leisure. These statistics include how many times Sirus has been killed since the beginning of the Conquerors of the Atlas expansion as well as how many times characters have died during the encounter!

First, we'll look at how many times characters have died while fighting Sirus:

  • Metamorph | 4408603

  • Metamorph HC | 1014

  • Metamorph SSF | 159115

  • Metamorph HC SSF | 769

Leading the way is the Metamorph league with just over 4.4 million total deaths to Sirus! In Metamorph HC, 1,014 characters lost their fight against Sirus and were sent to Standard league. Looking at Metamorph SSF, we can see that just under 16... Read more

In general, Maim tends to be applied by attacks, and Hinder tends to be applied by spells.

Alongside working on our upcoming 3.10.0 expansion, our team has been working on various improvements to Path of Exile, such as new features for Item Filters. We've prepared a preview today to give you an idea of what to expect.

Improved socket matching
  • SocketGroup "X": Groups of linked sockets on an item, for example "RGB". Can have multiple SocketGroup requirements within one filter, for example 'SocketGroup "RGB" "BB"' would filter for any option in that line rather than all options in that line.
  • "SocketGroup" now supports the letter A for Abyss sockets, and D for Delve sockets.
  • Abyss (A) and Delve (D) sockets should not be grouped in multiples (for example 'SocketGroup "RGBA"' or 'SocketGroup "DD"', as Abyss and Delve sockets are never linked).
  • Socket types: R: Red, G: Green, B: Blue, A: Abyss, D: Delve, W: White.
  • "SocketGroup" now supports a number to specify the number of socket...

You can actually use higher numbers in your filter if you really want, but nothing drops with more than two corrupted implicits atm. Those unique gloves have to be manually crafted.

I'm hoping that we can give a general indication of the launch date next week.

That was a poor example. I meant to point out that Glacial Hammer is always supportable by supports that only apply to skills with an area component (such as Increased Area of Effect Support). Pulverise does not actually have this restriction, so that doesn't apply here. Regardless, any area-specific modifiers won't apply to a skill that doesn't have any area.

Does that mean Glacial Hammer by default is also buffable by Blood and Sand?

No. This is only about supportability, not about what has an effect.

If not, how does Blood and Sand interact when you do have the threshold jewel for Glacial Hammer in and/or affected by M...

In about three weeks we'll be announcing our 3.10.0 expansion and its challenge league. Around this time we're planning to introduce a new set of league supporter packs, which means that the current Metamorph Supporter Packs will leave the store forever. While you still have time to consider purchasing one of those, we've selected a variety of stylish outfits you can create with the contents of these Supporter Packs. Check out the video below:

Here are the cosmetic effects featured in this video:
  • Grand Sanctum Body Armour
  • Grand Sanctum Helmet
  • Sanctum Wings
  • Sanctum Weapon Effect
  • Zenith Gloves
  • Wasteland Warrior Boots

Melee Splash Support will not add any tags. Neither does Arcane Surge. No supports add tags.

Melee Splash Support will add splash damage to a strike skill, which is area damage. Since the strike then has the property of dealing area damage, it would become suportable by Pulverise Support. That has nothing to do with tags.

Puverise Support's damage bonus only affects area damage. The splash is area damage, the direct hit that causes the splash is not. So that modifier only applies to the splash damage.

Because Glacial Hammer has a threshold jewel that adds an area component, it is always supportable by Pulverise supports that apply to skills with area. This is because threshold jewels being added and removed can't change supportability of gems, so gems get the necessary supportability by default.
