I've used quad cannibal fire eater spectres which still have the skill, or have a similar skill and it's been fine even before i upgraded my PC so idk man.
Unless they were talking about server performance issues in which case sure I guess.

Seriously, I do not buy the "old incinerate had performance issues" when so many of the mobs still use it and I never once saw FPS issues with old incinerate. It was just a skill that got overnerfed and that powercreep made irrelevant.
Please bring the original skill back, I miss it. It practically still exists but only on holy flame totem.

Almost no monsters use old incinerate. Lots of monsters (including the ones being discussed in this comment thread) use the non-totemified version of the Flame skill from Flame Totem, which looks superficially similar but is much simpler mechanically.
I’ve been joking for many leagues now, but I’d be super happy if they just made a league where they didn’t add anything new and just made QoL and QA improvements.
There’s so much low hanging fruit of basic QoL features they could crank out in a week of effort.
As someone said the other day. It’s one thing if your game is in depth and deep due to content or mechanic (that’s good!). But it’s a whole nother (bad) thing if it’s deep because of poor QoL or lacking basic features.
What simple/easy QoL features do you want to see? We're always interested to hear about easy ways to make the game feel a lot better.

I've updated the description for the Sextant modifier which adds packs of monsters that convert when killed to specify the amount of packs that are added. Just to make your life a bit easier, that one is consistent with the other modifiers that adds packs; 6 packs for Simple, 8 packs for Prime, 10 packs for Awakened.
I actually noticed a few days ago myself that there were no Master Missions coming from Awakened Sextants. That's been fixed up internally. It'll be patch noted when it goes live.

Hello u/RhysGGG u/Rory_rackham can we get a comment on whether Volatile Dead is working as intended? Balls are supposed to explode when you reach the cap, but now they are just despawning - this is a huge loss in DPS since we can quite easily hit the cap and despawn balls without dealing any damage
Not intended, they should be exploding. But this won't be fixed in 3.9.2b. Hopefully the next patch after.
Our Frankfurt host is having some major issues. I'm currently following up with them to see what's wrong.
Edit: Should be sorted now. An upstream provider's maintenance was causing unexpected problems.
