Hey! No, your username has no impact on anything - it can be anything! Linking your platform accounts (PC / Console) as well as Twitch / YT etc are what is required to receive rewards from these platforms to your game account!

Build 25140.1000 is the last version that works with certain anti-cheats right now. This is the build I'm on.
Any future build after this will cause problems :(

This isn't an issue with PUBG, but with Windows 11 Insider Build.
The current dev build has issues with anti-cheats. Specifically EasyAntiCheat, but can have an affect on others.
This is a known issue in the patch notes for the dev builds recently and PUBG is one of the affected games.
I'd imagine this will be fixed by Microsoft later down the line. This is not the first time a dev insider build has had issues with anti-cheats, either :)
Always read the patch notes before updating! Anything can break very quickly in dev builds! I'm on a few builds back due to this same issue myself :)
