i tried to run my game but this error code shows up and i cant play online or with other players. a message comes up that says "content not available" it then puts me in the menu screen but all multiplayer options are unavailable and it says "installation in progress" in the top left. i have tried to find any uninstalled updates but cant .I've even uninstalled and then reinstalled it but nothing has worked. please help if you have a guess as to what is happening.

At the moment this error code 0-0X00100608 is not known to us.

I can see that your game version was from Epic. Could you please try running both the game and the Ubisoft Connect launcher with administrator rights first to see if this fixes the problem of being unable to connect to the online? -

- Locate the games .exe file in its installation folder
- Right click on the games .exe file and select 'Properties'
- Select the 'Compatibility' tab
- Check the 'Run as Administrator box'
- Click 'Apply' then 'OK'
- Next, please do this for the Ubisoft Connect launchers .exe file too
- Finally, try launching the game by double clicking on the games .exe file

Please let me know what happens next after saving these settings, then trying to launch the game?

Just before this gets forwarded, I would like to ask you to try completing steps outlined below and just see if problem remains:

1. PlayStation
2. Xbox
3. PC

Hello everyone!

I'm sorry to read some of you are still unable to play. The error seems to suggest either the game is not fully installed, so that should be our primary focus point.

PS4/PS5 players -

Can you please check the Situations section to see how many are available to play? The amount of available situations is usually a good indication of how much of the game has installed.

I also recommend double checking system storage, to ensure there's enough space for the game to install.

Finally, try launching the game from another profile if you have one available to you.


@TW-saychell1224 - It's not possible for us to refund the booster I'm afraid. We are only able to refund boosters if there's been a large outage, as that confirms an issue on our side.

Are you experiencing the same error as everyone above, or is this something new? If it's not related to this thread, please create a new forum thread or add to an existing one.

Installation in progress message is something that is to be expected and is a standard practice when you're in process of completing the installation.

Once your content is fully installed, you will need to launch the game and keep it open. During that time, it will complete all the necessary updates and more and more situations will become available. If you do have all of them available apart from one, try to be patient, keep the game open and it should eventually complete.

In relation to the disc - if you are already having difficulties with it where you're unable to launch the game at times, then this might indicate other root for the installation issue, so please make sure that it's in working order.

Hey there.

In that case I'd recommend attempting full reinstallation, I'd recommend keeping an eye on it during installation to see if you notice any issues.

Hey Benjamin_073, welcome to forums and sorry about the issue you ran into there.

Can you advise us at what point are you stuck? Are you receiving 'Installation in progress' message as soon as you launch the game? If so, leave the game on, and let the process continue. In the meantime, you can play some Situations.

As time passes, more and more Situations should become available, indicating that installation has progressed. All you need to do, is just let it continue.

If however you are continuing to experience the issue, let us know if you have a physical or digital copy of the game, and we will take it from there.

Hey MunWasTaken, welcome to the forums! You should find the executable in C:\Program Files\Epic Games\[Siege's folder] by default, but note that if you've changed the default during installation, there isn't any way to make the Epic Launcher point to it. It's probably C:\Program Files\Epic Games\[Siege's folder] though.

Hello GreatAnexol thanks for posting.

The error code 0-0x00100608 can be caused by the game updates not fully downloading yet. Can you please make sure the game and the online modes are fully downloaded as well as the additional Ultimate edition content please?

Please navigate to Library > Purchased on your PS4 console, to check the ultimate edition content such as all 38 Year 1 to Year 5 Operators and The Disruptor cosmetic pack is fully downloaded with the game before launching the game.

Have you got Ubisoft Connect launcher installed in your device? As you login to the client with your Ubisoft account credentials, you will be able to download your game files through there.

If you are seeing 'Installation in progress' message, keep your game on and let it complete the installation.

As it progresses, you will be able to play Situations in the meantime.

The further installation goes, you will notice that more and more Situations will become available for you to play.

After a while, you will notice that the installation is complete and you will be able to access the remaining content in-game.

This is the exact same scenario if you play on PS4, therefore be patient and see how it goes.

So just to double-check, to ensure that we're on the same page - after you've completed your installation, your game now doesn't even load up? Do you receive any error messages at all?

Also, if possible, could you provide us with screenshot showing what is the window/page your game is stuck at?

Just to double-check, are you also seeing 'Installation in progress' message? Also, do you happen to have physical or digital copy of the game?

If it happens to be physical copy, I would suggest the following workaround:

1. Uninstall the game
2. Disconnect console from the internet
3. Install game from disk
4. Once fully installed, re-plug internet and do the updates
5. Launch the game once updates are done

Additionally, please bear in mind that if you have all of your situations unlocked however there is still no access to Multiplayer, then it means that there is still some progress left to be done, so be patient, have the game on and let it fully complete the process.
