MESSAGE TO OUR PLAYERS We would like to thank all the players who have taken the time to report and contribute to issues on R6Fix.

R6Fix is key in our efforts to improve the quality of the game we offer to our community. Development and QA testing is a significant part of all our processes, but even then, we are not able to prepare for every imaginable setup or scenario, and often the reproductions we receive from R6Fix are integral to our efforts to shorten the time it takes to fix difficult issues.

In this article, we hope to provide an update on its performance so far for Year 7 and grant more visibility into our internal processes to show how the production teams works with the platform.

Starting Y7S4, crossplay will also be added to consoles. This will allow you to matchmake with players across different platforms allowing for lower wait times thanks to a larger matchmaking pool. PC and streaming platforms players will however be kept in a separate pool and will not be matched with console players.

SOCIAL & COMMUNICATIONS
The social tab of the Ubisoft Connect overlay will allow players to access their friends list and manage invites. Invites to squad up can be sent through both the first-party platforms and the Ubisoft Connect overlay.

Hello BooCatGamer, thanks for getting in touch with us.

If you are unable to connect to a match in a short space of time, please check our server status website for any news of any degradation or emergency maintenance that could be ongoing > https://rainbow6.ubisoft.com/status/

I couldn't find any server degradation that happened yesterday on the Siege servers, that I have checked just now.

If there are no server issues and it takes you longer than 5 minutes to find a match, I recommend quitting the game and restarting your router to re-establish your connection to our servers. It shouldn't ideally take longer than 5 minutes to find a game, unless you play at the highest ranks with fewer players than lower tiers.

Hello RalseiInABox, thank you for getting in touch with us,

If you received a ban from the game, your Ubisoft account will be banned from the game and so will your Steam account where you used to play the game., so you will be unable to play on Epic using your Ubisoft account.

Some players will receive hardware bans from the game too, so the game can not be launched from your computer/console.

We are unable to go into further details than this on the subject,

Hello everyone and hello 幽彌,

I spotted this thread and noticed that you mentioned that the auto pick selection was not working as intended.

I couldn't find an open investigation into this issue with the Siege team, but if the auto pick selection is broken in any way, please could you give us some more details as to why you think this is not working correctly in-game? Thank you

Hello Garrix_Foreverand everyone else commenting on thi sthread.

The current freezes that occur in the game or on certain map, are currently being looked into by our Siege team.

Our QA team have asked us to gather the following info from players affected if you wouldnt mind answering >>

- The Match ID of the game affected
- Exact Windows OS and update version used (You can check this by pressing the Windows key and typing 'Windows' to bring up the update information)
- Your CPU, GPU, Ram and internet upload and download speed
- Any videos or a description of what happened in-game, just before the freeze occurred?

Alternatively, if you have tried any workarounds or troubleshooting that seemed to work for you we would like to know to pass this on to our Siege team.

Hello jose, the test version of the game will be available in the Connect launcher, usually before the start of a new season. It is not live all of the time however.

The test server will allow you to play game modes and any potential changes made to the game, before they have gone live in the actual main game.

I hope this helps give a little more detail as to what this optional test server is used for.
