Ranking meaning your placement, so Gold, Silver, Plat, Copper, etc. That resets each season, but your MMR remains where it was last season.

Hi Emanoeel, welcome to the forums, and welcome back to Siege!

Your rank does reset after each season, but your MMR stays the same so you're placed around the same skill level while you do your 10 placement matches for that season. When Y5S1 dops, your rank will be reset so you can try again. ... Read more

I use a ps4 controller also to play rb6 and i run a program in the back so my pc can connect to the controller smoothly and I think that's the reason but that's not interfering with the game at all...

Hi Neb600,

Thank you for sharing your Quick Match experience with us. The mode actually contains its own separate MMR system outside of rank, so even though their rank is higher than yours, it's likely their Quick Match (Casual) MMR is close to yours. I've noticed players who are rocking a Plat rank pretty much only play Ranked, which would explain why their Quick Match MMR is so close to yours.
