Did you do a full reinstall for the update or just an update? Running on steam deck over here no sweat - be sure to use DX11 when launching
For me this seems to cap my fps to 30. Also using linux+nvidia. Maybe this is a DX11 problem for me?
Possibly due to Vsync settings listed, I’m no pro with em so try disabling (sound guy posts) (he doesn’t know about graphics)
Sorry for delay, holiday time and away from computer quite a bit - how much space do you have on your HDD?
A lot of the sound issues you're having seem like it's tied to poor write/streaming speed, especially if the sound is completely cutting out as shown
Can you also check %LOCALAPPDATA%\ReadyOrNot\Saved\Demos\ and see how big the folder is? Try setting it to read only for now to prevent further replays from saving, it may be filling up your drive causing issues

The only solution I have found that is quite intrusive is to open up the taskbar and then close it down again.
Ahhh ok, I’d recommend moving the game over to an SSD if possible for sure - I’ve heard of the task manager “fix” as well, really bizarre that it fixes it

What specs are you running? HDD / SSD? This looks like some sound streams can’t quite catch up
I’m racking my brain for potential solutions… I swear I remember hearing that having a controller plugged in could cause this (?) but could be wrong
Hey OP - if you can get footage of this happening, pop it on YT and link here, we’ll take a look. For now I’d suggest validating game files. Are you using any mods?
Known issue - we had one of our FMOD banks go bye bye last minute and it borked some sounds. This and the arcade machine being silent we’ll look at fixing soon.
No changes to the aileveldata.ini but some more code-sided changes just to be clear.
A small note on the music - initially there was some ideation to have some “music” stems peppered throughout the level as actual environmental sounds, but honestly for a level like this, the realization of less is more became apparent.
Posting this this quickly makes me feel extremely good about the future. They're still dialed in.

Wait....what???? I have not received any briefings for my first two missions, it just loads me into the map like it did in the beta. Yes I'm playing in Commander mode.
In the tablet (TAB key), there’s a way to read and listen to each mission’s briefings / 911 calls :)
