Thanks for the response, Mod Doom. Wasn't aware it was a weekly rotation!
Happy to help, Kritigri - hoping we can get you that Fire Lycan soon!

Is there any idea for how far off this is from hitting game? Looks awesome!
all that's left for me to do is finalise the dialogue & balancing! then...
Pog Indeed :)
If I may ask of course, do we have any news about osseous (the 4th Rex Matriarch)?
Like, is that boss still on the radar? Not necessarily a release candidate for the production team, but more like, still on someone else's PC folders.
didn't hear anything about it last game jam, but i do believe it is still on people's radars (and definitely on their PC folders :P)

Don't you dare think about putting inverted skillcapes on the oddments store.
I just... what? There's so much stuff we can sling onto the Oddments store from old cosmetics, overrides, animations, pets, weapons and consumables. Why in Zamorak's name would we suddenly put inverted skillcapes in the game with no notice, let alone on the oddments store?
Believe me, their reintroduction is something I'm very invested in as someone who missed FSW - I want them to be brought back in in a way that feels meaningful and rewarding.
As others have said - the Oddments store hadn't been updated in well over a year, and there was a significant call from players on all our platforms to update the store. We've rolled out a new system of weekly rotating stock which holds a bunch more items and offers players more options.
I appreciate that there are a few ironman players who have been saving up for things, but good news - those oddments aren't going anywhere so we'll keep changing the stock of the store and rotating things in and out and that Fire Lycan might be back in before you know it!
Read moreLeave the Tea drinking to Protoxx. We need a Q&A hosted here on Reddit. Its long overdue.
Pleae.
Protoxx isn't the only tea drinker, you know! Reddit Q&As aren't off the table, either.
He's cute when he's little! Resin will not survive the Elder Kiln, so be sure to keep him away from lava. He won't ascend, as much as he'll melt.
I know you're part of the rs3 team and you said you can't do anything for me, but are you sure you can't even ask the osrs guys to check my reddit posts/history? If you can't get them to check my account directly? You're still the only guy who even gave me the time of day, so I don't want to annoy you, but I'm still reaching out daily almost and getting nowhere. My acc has rs3 and osrs progress. If this goes on till may it will be a full year I've been reaching out with no luck

Reiterating my replies to your previous thread https://www.reddit.com/r/runescape/comments/1b40nd3/comment/kt9a544/ , I empathise with your struggle, but I am unable to assist you with your major macro ban. The policy I have been told to follow is that developers are explicitly not allowed to intervene in player account issues.
Hey Stu, it's Stan - we discussed that episodic project sometime ago it was a pretty exciting idea, can you remind me again what it was called, pretty sure it began with an M or a C, or an F. It was on the tip of my tongue
Nice try, Stan. You gain a level in social engineering.
Seriously, though, we're longing to talk more openly about what we're working on. Hopefully we'll get the all-clear soon.

Hijacking a perfectly innocent question, tut tut SeaProgram - we're hoping to have a similar kind of chat with the RuneScape Leadership Team in the near future. A Tea Time chat or something along those lines, maybe?
Hey Ramen, should I pm you?
Yes, or post me your RSN and then log in so i can message you!
Can someone tag a mod for me? Idk how to do it on mobile. Plz and ty
What is your RSN, and are you logged in game?
Read more/u/jagexdoom would love to see an update on if you can change Pirates of Penance music track to be unlocked from lobby/tutorial rather then having to try and do a dead minigame
Not the first person to raise this feedback! I will be sure to nudge this again with the team.
I see there's still quest cleanup going on. /u/Jagex_Stu, is there any chance we could reduce the Smithing requirement for Devious Minds from 65 to 30? I made a comment before on this since that old requirement was for Mith 2h Smithing level +1. Hopefully the Monk has heard of the Mining & Smithing Rework :).
Also, maybe removing the 66 Magic requirement for Tomes of Warlock. Not a big deal since many players have 66 Magic anyways. However lorewise, there's another quest (forgot name) where you could ring a bell to the Magic guild so it doesn't require entry. For the sake of consistency would that be possible to implement?
Those quest requirement cleanup fixes were implemented over Feb gamejam week when the quest requirement cleanup released (have been in the queue for a little while due to the big combat beta release shortly afterwards) - I've since had to move back to my assigned episodic project.
I've compiled a long list of requests I've received from players wanting skill requirements in about 30 quests to be lowered/removed - Devious Minds was already on it and I've just added a JIRA for Tomes of the Warlock. (Thanks for that!)
They're a project in themselves, so it's something I could potentially explore in a new project over several future gamejams, but out of scope for the released quest requirement cleanup, which was predominantly focused on required quests.
Sounds like still no pizza time fix.
Unfortunately Zuk pizza issue is engine related so is gonna take some extra time to resolve
Just a short one this week, as we sort through some tweaks and updates - check out the Patch Notes for today's changes!

The legendary STAFF OF ARMADYL. Used for a spec and then hidden away. Worthless.
I think 'worthless' is a bit exaggerated for one of (if not the) strongest specs in the game.
I agree it could do with a passive, but I think some core issues to mage could do with being sorted first (like staves being mediocre, crit having a mixed identity between DW and 2H etc) so it fits in properly
