As soon as you swap yaw and roll axis, so that pitch and roll are on the same stick (as it is common...), the diagonal input of both axis is almost non-existent. Basically you can only roll with full strength or pitch with full strength. Input both at the same time and the ship barely rotates.
When I connect some other input device that maps the axis to different "input axis", even when using mouse + keyboard, this issue is not present. This isn't a bug, so it's not on that list, but we are aware of it! I've brought this feedback up to the team.
Perhaps, but I've spoken to people who use oculus rift and rift s, valve index, and htc vive, and all of them are having the same issue. I personally have an index, running on a 3900x, 64gb ram, a nvme ssd, and a 3090, so I know it's not the limitations of my rig.

Did no one really notice that the game is engine capped at 60 fps? 90% of the pcvr users noticed it immediately.
I get that it feels that way, but many people aren't affected by that issue. To my understanding, it's specific to certain brands/models of VR headsets.
I just wanna know if theirs a way to get my save data back. Opened the game after mission 12 and i am back to the tutorial. I love the game but I dont know if I can push for another play through after my saves just disappeared
Try quitting the prologue when you can. That should take you back to the main menu and let you go to the mission select.
I can try, but taking money from people knowing a product is faulty is pretty disrespectful. I'll shut up and go back to my broken game like a good boy.
I promise you, it's not like that. We genuinely didn't know about some of these things since there are some things that only turn up when the servers go live. For example, even if only a single percent of players are affected by an issue, that number is already magnitudes higher than how many people worked on this game since there are so many of you, so stuff, unfortunately, gets missed (especially when we're all working on this game from our living rooms and home offices). We're committed to getting this right, though.
Can you confirm if your team is looking on how the game modes play, independent of bugs?
Specifically the spawning in dogfights that lead to a fighter ball sitting in the middle of the map, and the exploit in fleet battles where teams don't attack on their phase?

Yup! We'll routinely balance aspects of the game, including the modes themselves.
I think to a lot of people, including myself, a ranked reset is really important. Is there a stance you guys have taken? I don’t think it’s really fair to those of us who played day one to get shafted the way we did in rank.
If you guys were planning to fix all the issues then do the reset, I think everyone would respect that. However, the longer you wait to do the reset, the more people will be upset by a reset. Because as it stands I’ve almost grinded out of Maverick at an 80% winrate, but if you guys wait a month to reset it’s gonna be a real kick in the crotch.
We're having a few active discussions on it, but nothing to confirm right now. When we do have a final verdict, we'll share with you ASAP. It'll all depend on when we can get the fix out.
Minor complaints aside, they did a tremendous job.
On that note, does anyone from Motive respond or even lurk here? I know developers have some kind of representation other game subs (ie Destiny, The Division, etc)

Just to confirm, the game internally operating at 60hz regardless of the reported framerate/PC power is indeed a bug, and it *can* be fixed because its not a limitation of allowing for crossplay?
Confirmation of the above is all I (as well as a LOT of others Ive spoken with) need answered to keep the game in my library, shut up about the framerates and patiently wait for the fix.

Will you please clarify for the community on wether the 60fps thing is related to crossplay or not, and if its something that we can expect even a semi-timely fix for? This is the general assumption most people have. Some kind of info from the team about this problem would do the game real wonders as far as far as public image goes.
Nope! No platform is being limited performance-wise by the others. They're either limited by the hardware itself or tied to a bug we're working on fixing.

Please just let us choose our regions and see our pings. I've never played an online game which didn't let me check my ping. Regional servers would fix these issues!
All EA games have regional servers to my knowledge. That doesn't seem to be the issue here.
Edit: As in, it’s a bug to be clear. We’re investigating it.
Adding post-launch content isn't the same as fixing bugs and balancing. We are 100% going to keep fixing issues and balance features. Two hotfixes down already, too, with another on the way.
There's been a few posts on reddit and the ea support/help forum but we haven't gotten much traction or official replies yet.
Hopefully this post stays high and gets us some help and answers!
The game is great, but you just can't play properly with the latency issues, and if they take time to fix them, the player base for less populated regions may be gone by then.. /u/EA_Charlemagne think you can give us a hand?
