The team builder you're using is not official from Crema. It's community-made.
We don't plan to include 1 Temtem vs 1 Temtem battles. The Kickstarter was refering to 1 player vs 1 player.
There was a time where we have plans to end up including 1v1 but since then the game has evolved a lot and most of the battle mechanics in the game are designed around 2v2 and it doesn't make much sense now.
A bit embittered by this patch. As if the wiping of pansuns and consumables wasn't awful enough,
but the Kinu I bred with decent stats and the trait I wanted somehow got the other trait after the patch.Going from over 1 million pansun to 6k is horrible. Going from 99 balm and balm+ to 6 each is insufferable.You know what? No thanks. I'm just going to wait for early access.
EDIT: At least the Kinu trait is fixed. I'm still not thrilled.

The economy wipe is only because we gave you literally millions in the previous patch to test everything out.
Yup, you can play almost everything in the game in co-op.

Well, that's the problem. You're going to need a dedicated GPU to run it properly (specially in Ultra). Try lowering your settings to low or changing your resolution / frame rate.
Try the latest patch. If that doesn't work for you best scenario is probably to ask for a refund on Discord seeing your problems and your attitude towards them and not considering this is an Alpha.

If all temtem would evolve at a certain level (thus probably lowering the needed level) it would make so at late-game islands, any unevolved temtem you'd encounter, would evolve instantly by gaining 1 level, even evolving twice in the course of 2 levels. Thus, you wouldn't even have the chance to bond with their unevolved form. I for one are happy that my Temtem don't just evolve at the first sight, and at least you play with their pre evolutions for the first island.
This doesn't really solve anything, and introduces new problems. The Pokemon franchise figured this out decades ago - you just make it so that creatures that are encountered for the first time later in the game evolve at levels that are somewhat - but not egregiously - higher than the level at which you encounter them. Right now, in Temtem, the system works worse (or at least no better) for any creature configuration that's possible.
1) For unevolved ...
The way Pokémon handles it only relies on having crappy Pokémon in the first routes and more stronger or more intimidating Pokémon in the latest routes.
Temtem is not like that, each island has its own habitat. You're not going to find crappy Tems in the first island and super powerful Tems in the latest island. So making each and every Tem in the sixth island evolve at level 70 just because they appear on the sixth island doesn't make any sense.

One is literally not even a puzzle. You can just walk in on these slow moving platforms.
The second one can barely be considered a puzzle either. It's the exact same mechanic as the other one except for a single part where they just sped up the platforms to the extreme, and it's completely RNG whether you'll even be able to cross because the right tiles don't always show up in time.
There's absolutely zero RNG involved in those puzzles.
so I guess it wouldnt make sense to preorder it on discord if I've already backed (temtem tamer tier) on kickstarter since I'll be receiving the game on steam once the early access comes?

If i buy it now on Discord, but I plan to play the full game when it comes out on a console and not booted up from steam or discord or on PC at all, will this work? Will i have to buy it again for console?
You will have to buy it again if you want to play on other platforms different than Discord.
