This is something we're still aware of, and the team's making improvements. More news to follow soon.

Replied to a thread earlier on this issue but want to let everyone know that this is fixed in an upcoming update.

I'm late, but I wanted to point out that we addressed this to the dev team and they're looking into this. Sorry, not much time for reddit currently!

Contact support at http://support.ubi.com and DM me the ticket number.

Random question but can you try running the game as administrator and see if that changes so the configuration stays?

i still get tonnes of crashes, from random things, opening ammo crates, picking up items, opening menus, sometimes just walking and it happens. the further i get into end game the worse it is.

i have a ryzen 5 1600 and a gtx 1080, 16 gb of ram. it should not be happening.

You're right, that should not happen. Have you been in touch with customer support? There's not much I can do for you here given the extent of your issues :(

Correct, they know it's a broader issue with the Mods section of the menu.

Hey all, this is on our Known Issues list as "fixed for an upcoming update":

[UI] Navigate Categories and Mark as Junk are bound on the same menu when interacting with project officers.
Status: Fixed for an upcoming update

Please pass on my message to the rest of the team, not only for me but for Paola, over the years your work, your creations gave us worlds to explore and experiences, fights we could win in and challenges completed together when the real world was at its darkest.

Thank you

A lot of us watch Reddit but of course I'll pass it along. It means the world to us that we could bring such an experience to you two. So thank you as well. ❤️

I read this out loud to my wife and I cried. I'm happy that we could bring some joy to you. <3

Jumping in to confirm this is fixed for an upcoming update. We'll let you guys know exactly when as we provide patch notes.

Yes, this is a known issue. We haven't been able to reproduce this internally, which is why we don't have an ETA for a fix yet.

Sorry about that...

Yes, it's actually a similar situation. We were working on a fix and didn't get it ready during the day. The crew decided to stay in to get it out for everybody. The dev team is really passionate about this game and when something breaks the game they put in their all to get it fixed asap.

On Monday that meant I got home late, to help with the communication. But that's why the job is awesome, because you make an impact even if it sometimes steals some sleep. :)

Hey guys. Thanks for bringing this up. Can we get some more specific details about the following items (and please feel free to add other details that you think might help us):

  • What system are you on? (PC / Xbox / PS4, PS4 pro)
  • If PC, what system do you have (your hardware)
  • What are you doing when the issues start occurring (open world, missions, co-op, be precise if you can)
  • Is it an exact timing or more of a time frame? (e.g. it always starts 4 hours in vs. it can start after 4-6 hours)
  • Does this happen when you are idle for a prolonged period of time?
  • Do you loot a lot of items and swap your equipment? (including apparel)
  • Does a simple game restart help with these issues, or do you need to restart the PC/Console?

To manage expectations: We're gathering this info and will forward it, but I won't be able to answer specific questions today. Thanks for your help!

https://www.reddit.com/r/thedivision/comments/b2okbn/feedback_bug_report_march_18th_2019/eivg244/

It is not anything game breaking but it is really annoying because it doesn't happen just with rain, but any ambient sound.

Yes, we're looking into that.
