  1. I believe my internet connection is stable, I experienced this twice, on different machines under different network providers. The connection speed of the two networks are both over 200Mbps

  2. I have experienced this twice, both during the encounter after the lake lodge part of the Camp White Oak (invaded) mission. It appears to be tied to the helicopter reinforcements, I believe these cloaking soldiers are dropped from the helicopter.

  3. I played it SOLO

Thank you very much!

The invisible/ghost units can be detected and damaged by turrets and I believe other automatic targeting gadgets. However, player's weapon doesn't do anything to them. I have recorded my second encounter of these ghosts, please check out this link:

At around 4:50 you can see me deploying the turret, and the turret starts to attack one of the ghosts, I follow its tracking and starting shooting where it's pointing at, but my gun damage didn't register. You can only see the damage dealt by my turret (damage number 36104, if it were my weapon, it would be over 2 million)

Hope that provide more information for your investigation.

Appreciate this, thank you :)

Hey!
Can you provide some additional details so we can investigate?

  • Did you experiencing the issue despite having a stable internet connection?
  • Did you encounter this once or on multiple occasions?
  • Did you play in coop and if so, did the other team members encountered the issue as well?

And this is specifically just the character screen? can I get some videos to forward if possible?

Thanks for the response Chris.

As you can see, there's a shared frustration with scaling (of which you guys are aware of and addressing).

I'd really love this league feature to allow us to use a range of builds and not only a red stack DPS build.

Stay safe.

That's definitely something we are keeping an eye out. I want to say though that in my runs we had a guy for DCD for example that went all CC with Shock and Blind, it was pretty helpful and I have seen some Tanky bois as well.

With the balance changes we can have another look at diversity. From what we can see in the data players are doing different variations of red DPS, Skill Heal, Skill Damage and Tank. Additionally also a lot of mixed builds. So, now we have to make sure that these are all contributing and how the solo experience looks.

Could you record your run? It'd be cool to see a developer run through it.

I'm not a developer on the game but a community developer, so I don't do any design or coding. We're looking into ways to stream from home but my rig is pretty old and can't handle the game and OBS. I'll try to see what's possible.

We are currently trying to figure out if we can do gameplay streams from home. Most of us don't have a setup that can run The Division 2 and stream it, my rig is 6 years old. I'm looking into how stable I can run it with Stadia, it has worked well for me in the past.

For what it's worth I did my first tries yesterday with random groups of 4 and I have finished Federal Emergency Bunker in 22m, Potomac Event Center in 23 minutes and DCD Headquarters in 18m.

I think with some more runs I can probably get it down further but for first attempts it felt quite good. I'm running all red LMG bu...

Chris talked a bit about CP resetting but didn't address control points being green for way longer then they were before TU8.

Are you guys aware NYC control points are not being taken over by enemies? My whole NYC map has been green since I completed Warlords.

Yes. Control Points are taken until reset. The Manhunt was meant to take over for this. As talked about today we will change this system and CPs will then be reset in Global Difficulty change in the future.

We don't have a date for this yet.

Not yet. Under the current circumstances we're trying the best we can but I don't want to make any promises. The plan is to have updates as frequent as we have had them since launch but it's likely going to slow down.

Yep, we needed to figure out if we can do it or not.

It's kind a funny to see you guys do what some of us have to do as well - work from home, have video conferences and all that.

Thanks again, is all I can say.

(Because you don't see my standing ovation ...) πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
