Which means after doing all the TU6 content once, there's little reason for many of us to keep playing. We're tired of the loot being absolute garbage and being junked/sold because the stats are all terribad.

We're not asking for God rolls every time we pick something up, but we'd like to not just junk 99.99999999999% of everything we pick up because we need to reroll 2+ attributes to make the items work. Because we can't reroll 2 attributes. Hell, we'll take middling rolls on the attributes at this point, but your RNG loves to throw everything as low as possible at 500 GS... almost like it's been weighted to force lower rolls more often to force players to just keep playing to hope for a semi-decent roll.

It would mean a large overhaul of the system (from what I understand from my conversations with the dev team a complete revamp...

Thanks for your feedback. I understand there's frustrations with several aspects and that's fair. We're continuing our support for The Division 2 and we do think that TU6 is making large improvements to the game. I'm sorry it's not what you were expecting / wanting from the game and that the RNG is something that frustrates you a lot.

I am incredibly surprised that this is such a complex issue. Theoretically the system should be set up to roll numbers based on certain value ranges, and simply tweaking those ranges would be sufficient to largely fix the problem. Currently the ranges are just too large (over 90% difference between lowest and highest value). Simply narrowing those would go a very long way, and it should be as easy as changing a few numbers. If it requires a significant code rewrite, it sounds like your guys did something terribly wrong.

From what I understand this solution wouldn't fix the issue players have with the system and might cause some other issues. I'm not the best person to explain the details as I don't have the expertise in the system itself but from what I've been told it's not something a simple switch in numbers can solve.

Thank you for all of your hard work in this community. I know sometimes it can be very difficult to balance the expectations of the player vs internal goals, and I’ve been a pretty outspoken critic on this sub of division for a few weeks now. TU6 is a big step in the right direction and I know I will play for a few weeks while the dust settles after the update. Could we please get some feedback on any possible changes to RNG and Stat Allocation systems in the near future ? Not asking for a change yet, maybe just a thread posted on this Sub by Massive with a view to collecting some ideas; I know a few good suggestions have been put forth by community members here with a view to completing builds without being at the mercy of RNG for months on end.

I am ok with waiting for new content as long as there is at least some info coming down the line!

Thanks again, sorry for the reply hijack

Changes to the RNG allocation of stats and the way that Gear Score 490 weapons for example can have higher damage output than Gear Score 500 weapons are currently something we are looking at but not something that will be coming any time soon.

It would mean a large overhaul of the system (from what I understand from my conversations with the dev team a complete revamp and therefore completely new "code") and it's not an easy feat.

That being said we also talk about it a lot internally and we know it's important to players so it's not something we don't want to do but rather something that will just take a lot of time and we will have to figure out how and when to do it.

Cool, let us know when we'll be able to farm gear for the raid. Because we know what we'll get tomorrow will be rebalanced at least once before the raid. So makes no sense to play now.

Edit: did you guys ever consider make something like seasons. So people would know what they're farming/building wont be nerfed to the ground next week? Like 3-4 months without refarm

That's fair. We'll try to give you as much of a heads-up as we can.

Enjoy! We'll make sure to keep the info about the raid coming when it's ready.

Hello,

Would it be possible for you to provide more information about this?
Info like these would be very appreciated:

- Location
- Name of the bounty
- Did it happen more than once?
- Did you perform a particular action before seeing the problem?

Thank you!
