That crash log looks bad, I frankly don't think there's much hope for that save game, I'm sorry.

Were these mods just minor cosmetic ones or substantial ones? If substantial you should contact the mod author or post in the User Mods forum here.

Please try the following:

- unsubscribe from all mods
- delete the folder Documents/paradox/Stellaris/mod/
- delete the file Documents/paradox/Stellaris/mods_registry.json
- delete the file Documents/paradox/Stellaris/launcher-v2.sqlite
- subscribe to a few mods
- run the game up and see if those mods are now available to you.

I hope that does it for you!

We now have reports of this on AVG, Avast and possibly Kaspersky.

You need to make sure all these apps are in its exceptions lists:

dowser.exe (in the Steam CK3 folder)
C:/users//AppData/Local/Programs/Paradox Interactive/launcher-v2.2020.16/paradox launcher.exe
C:/users//AppData/Local/Programs/Paradox Interactive/bootstrapper-v2.exe

Good luck!

Has the game always been like this since you've had it? Or it was okay up to some point in time?

Any mods in use?

DXDIAG is a program you run from a command prompt or the Windows start menu 'run' dialog box (or 'search programs' in Windows 7 or later). After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.

Please attach your Documents/Paradox/CK3/pdx_settings.txt .
From your Documents/Paradox/CK3/logs/ folder, attach system.log , error.log

Not a tech support issue so moved to main forum. If the community agrees it's likely to be a bug, post in Bug Reports please.

I am very sorry for you having this bug, but I'm afraid we here in tech support cannot answer your questions, and cannot fix this issue for you.

@Guraan is this an issue you are aware of?

English only in these forums please!

Looks like you have a problem with your nVidia driver:
Windows Error Reporting:
+++ WER0 +++:
Hata demeti LKD_0x141_Tdr:6_IMAGE_nvlddmkm.sys_Fermi_3D, tür 0
Olay Adı: LiveKernelEvent
And it's old too.

- uninstall the existing driver
- reboot
- install the latest from here:

First thing is your Windows 10 has not had any major updates for 2 years - and I haven't seen that N edition for a long time! Have you installed the separate media pack for it?

Run the Windows Updater, you should see a new Win10 version to in stall. Do that, reboot, run Updater again, apply, reboot - keep going until there is nothing to install. Boring I know but you have a lot of catching up to do!

And there's a slightly newer nVidia driver now, may as well install that and reboot yet agaiN!

Sorry, no idea on this one. They should always be in sync.

Is it only for this game?

Sorry I missed this thread before, not sure how that happened.

Wen this happens can you run the game from stellaris.exe directly from Windows Explorer? or does it fail then too?

Sync Items syncs your Steam games to your Paradox account. It does not do the reverse.

Just paste your Steam Activation code (which we sent to your email, and is in your Paradox Games menu) into the +Add a Game area of the Steam client application, and the game will be available in your Steam Library in that Client to download and install. You can also do this directly on the Steam website

Please try this:

- exit the Steam app entirely
- uninstall Paradox Launcher v2 from the Windows "Apps and features" utility, if still present.

Delete the following folders if still present:

- C:/users//AppData/Local/Programs/Paradox Interactive/
- C:/users//AppData/Local/Paradox Interactive/
- C:/users//AppData/Roaming/Paradox Interactive/launcher-v2/
To see the AppData folder you'll need to enable View Hidden Items in File Explorer.

- run steam.exe as the Windows Admin user

- run the game from the PLAY button in Steam

IF that doesn't help, in this folder are some .log files:
C:/users//AppData/Local/Paradox Interactive/launcher-v2/
Please attach them here.

Try having all players opt into the stellaris_test game version, now in the Steam betas tab for this game. That uses Paradox MP services instead of Steam's

Can you three play when no mods are involved? If so then there is a mod issue here, either you have different mods, different versions of mods, or even the mod load order can be an issue.

To test that all 3 of you enable one mod only - can you still play? then all enable another one - keep going until you find the problem mod.
