Does this also happen if you add the launch options -noWorkshop and -disableMods to Steam?

How far do you get? Do you see the launcher after clicking Play in Steam? Do you get any errors when clicking Play in the launcher? Do you get to the main menu of the game?

Rheingold - like most of Hadece's workshop items - are friends only, so you won't be able to find it unless you are friends with Hadece.

Sounds like you might have problems with the launcher not installing right. Try the steps explained in this post:

This is the problem. You are overproducing to a point, where there aren't enough trucks to get rid of your logs. You need more storage (or lower production) to have enough trucks to handle things. Add storages until you have at least one set to balanced that isn't full all the time and has some free trucks whenever you check it. Then you'll have truck capacity to deliver to around your city.

This guide goes into a bunch more detail on storages and how they work, but in short the trick is to have enough trucks for what you're producing. Otherwise things don't run smoothly. :)

In Options under Graphics you will want to turn Depth of Field down, maybe even off. Setting it to Legacy can also help lower it when zooming in with mods.

Ronyx69 has a bunch of map themes and I imagine he's using one of his own themes for that screenshot. You could look at some of his themes and see if any have the gravel you're after.

I know 2 of my themes have a similar looking gravel, though I think mine are tiled a little larger.

If you get a pop up when it crashes saying something like "Oops the game has crashed..." then the pop up mentions a folder, which contains a couple of files, that would be helpful in determining why it's crashing. You can find that folder by going to your games Library in Steam, right click on Cities: Skylines, select Properties, go to the tab Local Files and click the button Browse local files.

If you don't get the pop up, you will still have the output log (player.log on Mac and Linux). This guide explains where to find it.

Since we can't attach files here on Steam, you will need to upload them somewhere else and link to them. The guide also has some suggestions for sites you can use.

Just make sure to save manually as well, as the autosave overwrites the same file instead of creating new ones. :)

Best of luck with the new city! ^^

Here you go. This category includes both high and low density commercial buildings. Just add the ones you like and they'll be mixed in with any that can spawn in your city.

If you want more control over which ones can spawn where, then I recommend looking into the Building Themes mod. It lets you create themes of building... Read more

76% memory in use.
8035 MB physical memory [1916 MB free].
23155 MB paging file [0 MB free].
134217728 MB user address space [134176445 MB free].
Read from location 00000020 caused an access violation.

Your pagefile is completely full, which is causing the game to crash. I suggest increasing the max size to 32 GB, and make sure you have that much free space on the harddisk the pagefile is on.

The most common reason for the game to crash is running out of memory. Do you get a pop up saying the game has crashed and mentioning a folder? If yes, those files would tell us why it's crashing. You can find them by going to the game Library on Steam, right click on Cities: Skylines, select Properties, go to the Local Files tab and click the button Browse local files. Then find the folder mentioned in the pop up.

If you don't get the pop up when the game crashes, then there's still the output log (player.log on Mac and Linux). This guide explains where to find it and suggests some times to upload the file to, since we can't attach files here on Steam.

What's your unemployment like? And what about education level? Perhaps your citizens just aren't educated enough to take the jobs in commercial.

I'm afraid there isn't anything to do if the game isn't recognizing the file anymore. Most likely the save has been corrupted, which is why the game doesn't see it anymore. Do you only have the one? Any older versions or autosaves would be worth a try here.

While it won't help you now, I do recommend always making new saves when you save. I add a number at the end, so I have CityName1, CityName2, CityName3 and so on. That way, you have multiple versions of the same city, so if a file corrupts (which sadly happens from time to time), then you only lose some progress and not the whole city.

The screenshots show the settings used for the different graphical mods the creator used. You'll need those mods and settings if you want it to look like that. Or use the mods to tweak things to a look that you like. :)

Try unsubscribing the Unlimited Trees mod, load the save and see if it still happens.

The problem with an issue like this is, it needs to be something that can be reproduced without mods to confirm, that the bug is in the game and not related to a mod. Otherwise it isn't possible to pinpoint what's causing it, which makes fixing it impossible.

If anyone has this happen in a save that has never used mods (not counting the built in mods), then please make sure to post a bug report on the official forums and include the save. That's the best way to log issues like that, so the devs can reproduce it and find the problem. :)

Residential zones increase the demand for the other zone types. To increase demand for residential, I usually keep working on the city, making it more attractive and making sure the areas already built have all their needs met.
