Super helpful thanks!

A little random fact: Did you know that originally we had all the categories of the workshop when looking at subscriptions? For some reason Steam removed them, but at least the tags still work.

To see what the tags are for any specific category, you just go to it and it's at the top in the url. Super handy for sorting subscriptions. ^^

How far do you get and what happens? After pressing Play in Steam, do you see the launcher? What happens when you press Play in the launcher? Can you get to the Main Menu of the game?

Those holes are caused by broken mods. To fix it, you need to remove the broken mods. Broken ones include these, so remove any of these you have!

- Fine Road Tool (original, version 2 works fine)
- Fine Road Anarchy (original, version 2 works fine)
- Road Anarchy
- Road Anarchy 2
- Advanced Road Anarchy
- Sharp Junction Angles
- Low Bridges High Dams

If you don't have any of those, we'll need to know what mods you have. You can also check all your mods against this list of known broken and incompatible mods.

No, it won't require a regular intercity bus station. But intercity busses might take a while to arrive, especially depending on how attractive your city is and where the hub is located. If tourists aren't interested in visiting your city, you will only see very few or no intercity buses. Keep working on your city's attractiveness and I'm sure they'll start arriving at some point. :)

It could be a mod affecting things, or you could be hitting the vehicle limit. Those are the two things that come to mind at least.

Easiest way to have a look at all your mods is if you upload your output log (player.log on Mac and Linux) somewhere and drop a link here. This guide explains where to find it and suggests some sites to upload it to, since we can't attach files here on Steam.

No, I didn't miss that. :) I'm saying that the problem is, the depot needs to reach the specific station I circled. That's how it works. It won't work until you connect it in such a way, that the depot can reach that station. Give it a try. I'm sure it will help. :)

It's also not a good idea to have 2 different circles either - at least not if you mean you have 2 different tunnel systems. Everything should be connected for it to work best.

Backyards that are optional (like the extra tiles for a 2 deep building) only show up when the building spawns in the game automatically. If you place it with for example Find It, it will not add those extra tiles.

You can change the footprint of the building in the asset editor, but that also changes where the building sits on the lot. Depending on the building, that might be fine, or maybe it will look weird.

Which mod are you using for the transport UI? The first one that comes to mind for me is Extended Public Transport UI, which is very outdated and broken, so if that's the one you have, unsubscribe it and see if that solves it.

You have some sort of mod, that disables collision and/or snapping. Typically that would be any kind of road anarchy mod, but No Pillars can also disable colission.

Yup, it's a style for high density commercial. The CCPs are always smaller packs than the main DLCs and don't cover all zoning types (some of them contain unique buildings instead of zoned ones).

If you can't get anywhere to work, you can always make a post on the official support forums. They let you attach files directly, so you won't need to rely on any cloud drive to upload the file to.

Is that all the ones you can't remove? Or are there more old mods stuck? We'll need to deal with those, they are likely causing issues.

First unsubscribe any that are still visible on the workshop. Here's the old Network Extensions. Make sure it's unsubscribed.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=478820060

Then go to the workshop folder (typically found here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\255710 ) and manually delete these folders:

583429740 (That's TMPE)
802066100 (Fine Road Anarchy)
651322972 (Fine Road Tool)
478820060 (Network Extensions Project)

Next time you start the game, those should hopefully be...

Did you see the image in the guide? The one that shows wrong and correct connections in relation to metro stations.

Looking closer at your sceenshot, your depot is not connected correctly to the closest station. The tracks connect at a too sharp angle for any metro to come out of the depot and go to the station circled in this picture:

Hmm, that's not looking good. :/ You can upload the save to the workshop and share it here, then we can give it a go. But if you have an older version of that city, it might not be worth the time troubleshooting.

If you buy the game through Steam, you also have the option to get a refund. Just make sure you play no more than 2 hours and apply for the refund within a week of buying the game. That can serve as a way to test it out and see if you like it.

I would also start with just the basegame. It's on sale atm, so if you end up passing the 2 hours, but still abandon it, you won't have spent a lot of money on something you won't end up playing. DLCs can always be added later on to expand the game if you like it. And if the base game doesn't appeal to you, the DLC are unlikely to have made a difference. They improve the game, but the basics are the same. :)

No worries. ^^

Hmm, strangely the log isn't showing the simulation error, that you're clearly getting.

Firstly you should remove the Pause on Load mod. The game has that feature built in now, which the mod might not play nice with. So since you don't need it anymore, it's best to remove it.

Next restart the game (or start it if it's closed), open Options and find the Loading Screen Mod. It has a few options to start it in Safe Mode - check all those boxes and restart the game. Then try loading your save.

If that doesn't do the trick, add the mods Save Our Saves and Safenets and restart the game. Make sure both mods are enabled as well as LSM's Safe Mode. Then try loading the save again.
