Welcome, Park Testers!

This PTB release adds a work-in-progress version of the cave bear, improves animal viewing behaviour for guests and addresses some feedback for the updated building tools. The bear will be receiving additional sounds, animations and vocalizations very soon!

This PTB release features a work-in-progress look at Update 13's content, including the reworked building toolbox, building experience, park rating rework, guest sitting and biome updates. Please note that Megaloceros and Ursus are not included in this pre-release and will be available once the patch is completely finished.

Update 12 is coming soon on October 28!

New Animals

This upcoming release introduces three new fan-requested animals: the armored Ankylosaurus and two large sauropods, Apatosaurus and Brontosaurus. These creatures can be accessed immediately in the game’s Sandbox mode or by completing Excavations in Challenge mode.

Welcome, Park Managers!

This patch brings additional quality of life improvements to staff, Sandbox and Challenge mode, and plenty of other changes. Thank you for all the feedback so far!

Features

New gameplay options have been added to Sandbox mode, allowing players to customize their staff and logistics experience. The existing dung toggle being changed to account for Update 11's logistics functionality.

Please note that a Staff Center MUST be placed in the park for cashiers to be auto-hired as they are integral for kiosks to function! When staff welfare is off, newly hired cashiers will auto-teleport to any existing or new kiosks that require staffing.

Welcome, Park Managers!

This follow up patch to Update 11 addresses some of the more immediate feedback given by the community. Additional patches are soon to come!

Features

Amongst various changes to balance, guests and staff (particularly regarding travel speed and exploration distance), we've added a Sandbox conversion tool to Challenge Mode! This should help players whose parks are impacted by balance or calculation adjustments made throughout Early Access.

Going to Settings > Gameplay will now display the sandbox conversion button.

Welcome, Park Testers!

This release aims to address some of the issues reported by users on our Discord server and adds the last staff type for Update 11, Cashiers! These workers will manage the register at kiosks around the park, changing shift when additional cashiers are available. They are real, physical staff, just like Laborers and Keepers.

By default, Cashiers will be auto-hired from the Staff Center when the game detects kiosks that have no one assigned to them. This behavior can be disabled from the Park Services menu, or players can choose to manually hire Cashiers, just like the other staff types.
