Camos are still worth credits. Some cannot be sold just yet, but will be able to be sold in the near future.

Again - a base XP mission is something that you will complete literally without thinking about it. This is a side-quest that you are welcome to bypass and ignore if you want! If aesthetics and credits mean nothing to you, then focusing your efforts on DY missions that have more tangible rewards may be the better options. There's a lot to do in the DY for free and it even includes a T7 premium!

Pick and choose to your liking

The NA team is particularly proud of the Statue of Liberty Commander as we pushed for it's content creation and sourced the voice-over actress () - so we'd love to have her come back in the future.

I'm not sure exactly when or how, but it's awesome to know that people enjoyed her addition and would appreciate seeing her come back to availability.

Hi!

Forgive the long wait for the reply - the entire NA has been travelling together for the last few days.

So, I've been hearing this notion for a while now. For several patches, in fact - that more games are steamrolls than before and that this must be a factor of the match-maker not factoring in player's stats. I did some digging into match metrics and found that this is simply not the case. I compared average battle time and average number of deaths per match, along with a few other things. I did not see any difference between recently and before. Those being the two most obvious metrics, I have to conclude that this is something that people are perceiving, but is not actually changed.

Before we get the "spreadsheet says it's fine" memes, keep in mind what the two results of steamrolls SHOULD be: shorter matches and fewer deaths. That should translate to lower XP all around - something I also checked.

I'm not sure this qualifies as the sort of thing I want to bother the developers with, to be quite honest.

No offense intended, I just don't think it's something that makes much of a material difference.

I'm honestly not sure! In the rare occurrence when I d/c, my ship almost always comes to a complete stop.

Hi, Folks

Sorry to hear that you don't value the camos even if they are free. Not all free rewards are going to be the same or be valued by players the same.

I'll remind you that we give out a metric boatload of items for free in this game. Not all of them will be to your highest liking, but try and look at it over time. We just released a DY with a free Tier 7 premium that can be completed by absolutely anyone just for playing. We did that with the Repulse, Graf Spee, Tachibana / Yahagi, and Gorizia in other dockyards. Premium ships are a boon for F2P accounts.

@Ahskance has even been playing a free-to-play account on his stream and has been astounded by what he's been able to accumulate just for playing.

I understand that some camos are not very exciting compared to things like these, but please understand that they are that: free. If you regard expendable camos as dirty underwear... well that's a shame, but no...

Calm yourself, Iago - it's a closed test-of-concept

Surface ships can fire-and-forget as their main weapon. CV's are literally locked into guiding their main ordinance. We're going to test both options and choose the one that works best.

I agree! Ships need to feel similar, but different so that they aren't too difficult to pick up but offer a style of gameplay that feels unique.

Not an easy thing to do!

You're welcome to DM me the replayfile on Discord or in a private message here in the forums.
It sounds like you and an enemy sub ran into each other underwater, which is so incredibly rare as to suggest that you should go buy a lottery ticket right now.

It never exactly went away.

The matchmaker changes that were introduced a few patches ago were intended to reduce the chance of this sort of matchmaking and it did. This can still happen, however, when the population of submarines and DD's far outweighs the other classes in the moment.

There will always be specific instances of unpleasant matchmaking that isn't your optimal loadout, but the changes we introduced were intended to lessen the occurrence of it and we've actually seen in our data that it did!

As someone else pointed out - those Research Bureau points are waiting for you right there - all you have to do is repurchases the ships and play a game with at least 300bxp.
You did it just fine - but the next part is regrinding the ships :)

Hi, there
2 things:

1. As a game company, we do not base potential improvements to the game on whether or not it will render old community content obsolete. It's just not the way things work, nor should it. "Well, we can't update the captain skills because Notser's videos on captain skills won't be relevant anymore".

2. I doubt content creators are saying to themselves, "shoot - now I have to go back and redo my videos". That's not how content creation works. Especially for YouTubers, more views is what they want. In fact, such a shift in captain skills means there is more territory for them to make content, not HAVE to make content. Twitch streamers also benefit from this in that they can make content out of trying new builds.

The game is going to evolve and change. Most skills are similar, if not exactly the same as old skills, albeit moved around so that not every ship class has access. Removing AFT from cruisers ...

Hi, there!
Considering how many times I hear folks' saying that World of Warships is "pay-to-win", it's always a surprise to me to hear the opposite. It sounds like you are frustrated that, despite your input over the years, the results in your WR have remained the same. As someone who was once very bad at the game, who then became someone very good at the game, the most effective way to get better is to division with those who are better than you and to watch instructional videos from veteran players.
YouTubers like Potato_Quality are easy to understand and make videos that are accessible to a wide audience. I recommend giving him a try! He's on of our NA CC's!

Hi there,
I'm going to take issue with this take on the change. Snowflakes have always been so much easier to complete in Coop due to the speed at which games go that Randoms players actually start to fill up Coop matches during this time just to get them all done in a timely manner. This annoys the Randoms players AND annoys the coop players.

This change was designed to allow both Coop and Randoms players to complete their snowflakes in roughly an equal amount of time rather than provide a significantly faster route through Coop only. Coop players can and will knock out multiple snowflakes at a times while Randoms do the same. The reason for Randoms having more knocked off per match is due to the average battle length of each mode. Coop players are only increasing their rate of snowflake completion.

This is literally a net gain for everyone, so I'm afraid I'm going to disagree with your take that coop players are experi...
