We are absolutely reading the feedback. The Photon UI team has spent the better part of a year making modifications to the UI based on community feedback and have no plans to stop.

First and foremost, we want to thank you for all the amazing feedback these last few months. With your help, we feel confident that Photon is an improvement across the board! Using our new technology, and following your feedback, we were able to add features like anomaly lists and multiple overviews, while improving and unifying the user interface.

As discussed on our Producer’s Letter livestream, starting February 14th, Photon will no longer be in Beta, and will fully take over replacing the previous UI. This will allow our teams put more of a focus on adding features to Photon which would otherwise not be possible with its predecessor, while still continuing implementing further improvements and fixes and incorporating your great feedback.

We’re excited to be taking this next step in the Photon journey with you!

Greetings Capsuleers!

Over the last two years we’ve had to forgo in-person summits due to the pandemic, however this year they are officially back! CSM 17 will fly to Reykjavik, Iceland for a week of meetings from Monday, January 30th to Friday, February 3rd. We’ve finalized our topics, some of which we want to share with you. Further, after the summit a summary of everything that was chatted about will be made available.

Summit topics:

  • EVE Leadership - Goals for the summit, state of EVE, detailed look at the roadmap for the next expansions
  • CSM Program Evolution - Ideas and brainstorming for how to improve the CSM as an institution
  • Quality of life - Prioritizing and aligning on issues that the community identifies as “Little things”, along with other quality of life discussions.
  • Team Security - Chatting with the security team over the methods and tools they use, with a look at data from 2022. Also a look at u...

Hey! Sorry for the delay. Just wanted to chime in and say tickets are never ignored, though some may take a bit longer to get feedback based on complexity. I wouldn’t classify what you’ve written in this thread as overly complex, so hopefully you’ll get a response relatively soon.

If you haven’t tried them yet, Abyssal Deadspace fits pretty closely to what you’re after. Each site is ~20 minutes with varying difficulty, and you can do it either as a single Cruiser/HAC or 3 Frigates/Destroyers co-op.

Pochven also has some more challenging PvE(vP) content, as well as some escalations in low/null sec (though those are a bit less reliable)

At roughly 17:30 UTC today, the character search cluster was inadvertently taken offline making it impossible to search for player characters and create private contracts to said characters.

The search cluster was put back online at ~18:30, but will need approximately 12 hours to fully repopulate. During that time, players attempting to search for other characters or creating private contracts may face issues. Will update this thread when the search function is completely back online.

If you are experiencing issues with searching for a character in-game, please file a support ticket.

Hello there! We are aware of the intermittent issues that were affecting the character transfer service, and are looking into the issues. The uptime is more reliable now, though there are still certain issues plaguing it which the teams are tracking down.

For those having problems with Cloudflare, there was a Cloudflare issue that was resolved at 21:07 PST on Jan 3rd which may have been affecting some users, predominantly in Europe.

We’ll be keeping an eye on this for any unexpected downtimes :+1:

Sisi has no pirate faction capitals, and no supercapitals, seeded. They can be built, and of course if you have one on TQ it’ll be mirrored over to Singularity.

Hello everyone,

In today’s patch we made an update to the respawn timers on some Invasion sites, and we wanted to add more clarity to that.

This primarily affects the Observatory Flashpoint anomalies in Pochven. These sites are both highly profitable and very hotly contested, leading to a vibrant ecosystem in the region. Since last year, these sites would respawn instantly upon completion such that there would always be 3 Observatory Flashpoint in Pochven, and to encourage growth of this new region remained with the then cooldown effectively being zero.
