The team is aware of this happening. You're able to hear other voices if they're using their quips while on the dropship. Had some games where players participated as if it was a conversation, but we've seen the spamming too.

Your GF has good taste in gaming. I'm afraid there is not much we can do from our end though as we cannot remove coins from an Xbox account nor refund through Microsoft's billing system.

Do you have "Text to Speech" enabled under your Apex Legends game settings? If so, try disabling that.
Do you have boost mode enable don your PS4 to see if that helps get around this error and how full is your hard drive? I'm concerned the game is putting the system over the tipping point of where the hardware is struggling to run the game. Is the system dust free and well ventilated?

Does the purchase for the 1000 coins show up as completed under your PlayStation account's transaction history? If it's there, does it show up in your country's currency? Some players will accidentally make purchases while on VPN which can cause content issues due to region locks through the Sony store. If that's the case, please contact PlayStation Support so they can look into the purchases made on your PlayStation account.
