We’re hearing from some players that they’ve managed to resolve their similar issues with a BIOS update. I’d recommend looking in to this!

Comment

It’s my understanding that this is an issue with the ‘Item Filter’ mod.

Have you rebooted your router?

Could you also try changing your DNS, if you haven’t already? This is usually successful in resolving the Sign-In Timeout error.

I believe it occurs sometimes when a Minotaur spawns.

I can see immediately that your GPU is crashing. There is unfortunately no one shot panacea but errors of this nature are usually driver-related. Please see: [PC] How to Resolve GPU Crashes – Fatshark

This should be resolved in patch 4.2, apologies for the inconvenience.

Oh no… how disappointing. :frowning: I sincerely thought that was the “cure”. The investigation continues!

I can’t seem to locate your account in our backend, so the connection must be breaking prior to it being able to communicate with our backend.

Are you able to play in ‘Offline’ mode?

This should now be resolved, please try logging in!

Much appreciated!

Unfortunately it sounds like you’ve exhausted all of what we would usually recommend, so in all honesty I’m not sure we can come up with an immediate solution.

The next step would be to reach out to Easy Anti-Cheat directly, as this is an error produced by their service. We can either do this on your behalf, but they usually prefer to speak with the player: Easy Anti-Cheat

Alternatively, providing Vermintide 2 was purchased via Steam, I’m happy to contact them and request that they issue you a refund.

Nice! Out of interest, would you mind sharing your PC’s specifications with me?

Comment

Regrettably not at the moment.

We don’t know if this recent increase of reports is simply coincidental and due to localised issues, or if it could be something else - we’re still investigating.

Two players have been able to resolve it with a BIOS update. We also have a list of potential solutions here: [PC] How to Resolve PC Crashes, Loss of Responsiveness or Blue Screens (BSOD) – Fatshark

Sorry to hear this. We’re looking in to an increase of players reporting that their PC is crashing and are wondering if it has anything to do with the latest Windows update.

If on Windows 10, could you please navigate to ‘Settings’ -> ‘About’ and share with me your ‘OS Build’ number please?

No need for now! :slightly_smiling_face:

That’s all I need! Thank you, we’re looking in to it.
