Hmmm. Are you using anything that could be potentially interfering with your connection to our servers, such as a VPN?

I’m very sorry to hear you’re having a hard time. Although it may not seem like it right now, it will and does improve. Take care of yourself and remember there are always people willing to listen.

I’m happy that Vermintide 2 brings you some respite. I hope we can continue to keep Vermintide 2 exciting for you. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

You have a beefy Ryzen CPU, and Vermintide 2 for some unbeknown reason doesn’t operate very well with a high ‘Worker Thread’ count. So, head into the launcher, to the ‘Settings’ menu and try lowering your ‘Worker Thread’ count down to 6. See if that helps.

I can see there appears to be some problems with your account in our backend. I’ve asked our Backend Engineers to look in to this, and it should be resolved by Friday. If it isn’t, please send me a reminder here!

Please provide us with the console log associated with this session, and we’ll make sure it’s in our database. Your console logs can be located using the instructions below:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Vermintide 2\console_logs

You can reset your user_settings.config simply by deleting it - a new one will be produced on launch. This will also wipe out your keybindings, so keep that in mind.

Hmmm, I am at a bit of a loss with this one unfortunately. These Deadlocks can be very stubborn, and is unreliably referencing the GPU but I appreciate you’ve already played around with your drivers with no success.

There are some additional solutions here you may wish to run through:

Stubborn Connection Timeout errors are very often localised to the router or ISP.

To help isolate the issue, try connecting your PC to a mobile data connection to see if the error persists. However, I appreciate this isn’t always an option.
