Ideally you should solve the VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE BSODs before anything, as this points to a dysfunctional GPU or GPU driver which can result in crashes of this nature in Vermintide 2. You’ll want to reach out to AMD for advice on this.

Although! There is some evidence to show this could be mod-related. So, try disabling all of your mods and re-launching Vermintide 2.

Edit: It looks like the ‘A Quiet Drink’ mod is attempting to load into the ‘Official’ realm.

  1. Unsubscribe from A Quiet Drink
  2. Delete C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\552500\1694820325
  3. Re-launch Vermintide 2

Thank you for your report - I’ll inform our contacts over at Easy Anti-Cheat, as this is an error produced by the anti-cheat service (as opposed to us).

Hello @Boukistan, could you try re-launching now and see if the error persists? If unsuccessful, could you let me know which country you’re playing from?

Comment

Sorry to hear this, we’re monitoring the error rate both in our backend and Steam itself.

Could you try enabling the ‘Small Network Packets’ option within the ‘Network’ panel and see if there’s any improvement please?

Are you using Avast, AVG, SpyBot, 360 Total Security or BullGuard Anti-Virus?

If you could PM me the email addresses used to contact Easy Anti-Cheat, I can request that they chase it up. Sorry you’ve yet to hear back. :frowning:

Glad our, ehm …optimisation… could help in this case. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Closing as requested!

Restarting the Steam client, sometimes required several times, will solve this. This is due to a miscommunication between Steam and our backend, causing DLCs to be “unlinked” to the account.

I think - for both of you here - the best way to proceed would be to contact Easy Anti-Cheat directly, who are infinitely better at handling EAC-related issues than we are.

You can do this here: https://www.easy.ac/en-us/support/game/contact/tech/

Alternatively I can contact them on your behalf, but please be aware this will increase the turnaround for a response, and they often wish to speak to the player directly anyhow.
