The user deleted posts indicate that I was likely correct. What an unfortunate set of circumstances to encounter, but essential to identify and catalog for our community.
There are players/people who want to exhaust our attention with unwarranted attacks and false flags for seemingly no reason other than the upvotes or some strange vendetta.
Regardless, I remain happy to assist with escalating that issue if it were somehow real.

I don’t want to engage in any back in forth with you, I shouldn’t have to even say this, you’re trying to talk down to someone asking for help, I got my account stolen, asked if there was any way I could get it back, and got blocked. Simple as that, if you think communicating with a loyal fan of your series is “detrimental” then I don’t know what to say, have a good one regardless man. Wow.
Question: Why did you not immediately identify that you had a problem which needed to be investigated and hopefully solved, instead of posturing your entire approach upon "the developers are blocking honest questions?"

I understand the developers deal with tons of toxicity from this community, and I know a lot of the problems with the game are under activision. And yes of course the developers can block who they want, but is asking to get a stolen account back worthy of a block?
Context is king here. I'm not going to blindly offer a "yes" or "no" for a referencing scenario without details. Let's revisit what I said earlier: It is possible to invalidate any interaction by being unkind or operating in detrimental ways.
I currently consider the interactions I'm having with you to be detrimental, but there is a learning opportunity for you and others and thus, I have engaged. Let us skip this tedious back/forth that you want to engage in, and please point me in the issue's direction. Where is this scenario that you want to champion without directly referencing?

So many bugs in this broken game, with devs blocking fans on Twitter with honest questions, sad to see.
We're investigating this and a specific callout to make here is that we rolled our latest update from January 29 back. If this issue is happening still, after 5:30 pm/PT on Jan 29, please let me know.

It's the same thing. Same attachments on the same gun, with the same models.
Entirely different teams, however. While it may be a Black Ops Cold War weapon, our partners at Raven manage + operate Warzone. So /u/BananaDerp64's callout regarding this being a different game is important for your peers. We appreciate posts like this from /u/MrGidz, but I would indeed need to steer them in the right direction. Fortunately, I can share this with my peers.

What does the update add? Every time there's a patch I can't seem to find the patch notes anywhere at all.
We post large update patch notes over at https://www.treyarch.com/game-intel. This was a small security update that did not receive a pass of notes as security update related notes are typically generic (for good reason).
We have since rolled this update back due to the crashes related to Sanatorium.
Players may need to disconnect from Black Ops Cold War to take the update if they haven't already done so in the last 30 minutes. (Posted at 4:15pm/PT Jan 29 202)
We'll be releasing stability updates next week with the launch of Firebase Z. We're also currently tracking reports of crash errors on Sanatorium 24/7 after today's small update.
As I said I never got an email at all. Not even an email stating a ticket number or anything. I simply hit the support tab and sent the message about what happened and never heard from there on.
