If I recall, this issue was fixed several patches ago? I have not run into it myself recently. Is this still happening for you? If so please dont tie up this thread and make a new on.

Check your DMs

For Android players who are still having this issue can you please hook your device up to your PC and try the following:

1. Open files app
   
2. Internal storage
   
3. Select Android
   
4. Select Data
   
5. Select com.epicgames.fortnite
   
6. Select Files
   
7. Select UE4 Game
   
8. Select Fortnite Game
   
9. Select Fortnite Game again
   
10. Select Saved
    
11. Select Logs

Please send me the logs. This will help the team figure out the cause.

If you could provide any information such as the region you are located, NAE, NAW, EU? Internet provider, account name and any other details you can provide it would be very helpful.

The issue is i am not seeing a bug here? Everything when slowed down frame by frame seems like it is working correctly. You can see your edit, press the floor and build buttons almost at the same time, this action of pressing it so quickly while jumping ( and seemingly not gaining enough height) doesnt place the floor.

Once you land you are turning the camera left and right but never pressing the placement button. Once you do it builds. It was a short video and I looked at the video in as slow motion as I could, that is what i noticed.

I tried to break this video down frame by frame to see the issue. It looks as if you edit and pressed the floor piece while jumping. When jumping it does not look like you are reaching the height to were you could jump and place that floor. Holding down the build button when you cant build will result in showing the button pressed but no actions.

As you showed in the video once you tried again you were able to build, you also made the jump and just turned the camera without pressing the build button, once you pressed the button it worked correctly.

The reason it was removed is that we don't have an ETA atm for this to change. Right now this is a design choice and not considered a bug, so it was removed.

Thanks for the report. If this does happen again, could you please report the bug under the feedback button in the settings menu. This will help us gather your player logs and see what went wrong.

This is a different issue than the one you posted about where you said that movement stopped and you didnt switch back into combat stance. Also this interaction is the same on PC and other platforms. You are just to close to the wall to edit the structure you are aiming for. It also looks like you are using the ADS button as a crosshair. This is not showing you the correct area you are editing on. Changing this back to a normal crosshair might help when editing.

If that is a message from our player support, they never said it doesnt exist. It does work, but as mentioned they said its not guaranteed to work. This is because L3 and R3 are not supported and require a movement to xcode 10/11. I have no timeline on when that move will happen.

hey u/BlamingBuddha can you try to log in now? We did a little magic on our side and hopeful it works for you and the others.

Can you expand on this video by showing where you cant shoot and get stuck as you said in the video? I am trying this myself before sending over to QA to look at and not having any issues going back into combat mode after editing. Also once you have this happen in game please use the ingame feedback button so we can get your player logs and the team can look at those.
