I'm well aware of what is happening for the majority of the room being lit. But light is not just coming out of my flashlight between +/-15 degrees front. There is light going out at +/-45 too. This is what I want. A wider beam. The there could be a smaller more concentrated beam, but there could be a less concentrated area of light around it, all sourced from the flash light.
I don't have a super powerful rig I just want my flashlight to illuminate around my optic, not just the small window.
I have edited to clarify what I am asking for. Thank you for your input my good sir/madam/flying turquoise safety helmet.
I assume since your rig isnt super powerful youve disabled the bounce light option in settings? We decreased the cone radius of the light and added that bounce to act as a more realistic light source within our means. However we've seen a looot of feedback about the lights being too small, and it's something we'll look at, but I'm not entirely sure how much wider we might end up making it.
What would be really cool would be a control option to change how wide/narrow your flashlight beam is, and this would actually be quite easy and fun to implement I imagine. That being said, don't take this as a promise for the feature itself. I just like the narrow beams personally, but understand the importance of making it wider, particularly if the bounce is not enabled.
