As this is a tricky edge case we recommend that you try to isolate the issue by taking the following steps:

• Try powering off and disconnecting any other devices that make use of the router, both wired and wireless, so that only the console is connected to it through cable
• Check if the Router provides logs to give further insight on the crash/error
• Check if it’s possible to create a rule to limit the bandwidth available for the PS4 through the router settings
• Try using a different cable to connect directly from the router to the PS4, and/or switching Ethernet port on the router
• If possible, try to get a full router replacement, including its power supply ( ...

Was the animal pen placed over foundations or directly on the ground?

What other items are missing, besides the animal pen?

As sestus2009 has mentioned, we’ll need additional information such how often you restart the server, when did this issue start to happen and, if possible, a few screenshots or a video depicting the scope of the building.

Regarding the purge hordes, there are a few issues with them that are being looked into and may cause them to behave erratically.

Do the disappearing buildings leave any message in the Event Log?
