For playing online or coop we strongly advise that you set up a wired connection to ensure maximum speed and stability.
Additionaly, performing a clean reinstall of the game or to rebuilding the PS4 database can also help.

Are you able to play online without any issues?
We’d suggest that you first ensure that your save is stored on the XBOX cloud, before trying the following steps:
Reset the console cache by holding the power button for about 10 seconds until the console powers off, then disconnecting it from the power outlet for a couple of minutes, then try loading into your SP session.
If the issue persists, try to perform a soft factory reset while keeping games and apps.
Should you still have trouble loading into the SP game, please try to do a full reinstall of the game.

When did this issue first happen, was it after yesterday’s patch?
Could you ensure that you both run a wired connection to ensure that network stability isn’t the cause behind the loading issue?
If the issue still occurs after trying the suggestion shared above, have you tried killing her character to force a new respawn on her client upon connecting to the session?
In any case, we’ll be sure to register the issue for the developers to look into.

Unfortunately, the mask is intentionally not droppable, even though it’s spawnable through the admin panel.

Hello @Irkalla, we’re aware of the issue and it’s being looked into by the team.
It does seems to occur more frequently when changing from a one handed weapon to a two handed one, or vice-versa, especially while the thrall has its current weapon out.
