Am I crazy or does immediately dying to a goblin 3 times as soon as the server opens give you a free tier 2 relic?
Yes but you also get a free tier 2 Sigil as soon as you start the game.
Each time you restart you get to pick from the same 3 Sigils. These can't be traded and you lose all Sigils on your 3rd death so it'd be a but silly to do this unless you wanted to change which one you started with.
i am most curious about one thing: 345 aka perm dmm world. does sigils get implemented in there? or will it be base deadman without modifications?
There are no plans to implement these changes to W345 as of yet. It's an entirely different format for DMM.
Honestly with the permadeath aspect of this I feel they should up the exp rates even further, maybe the relics will do that we'll see

These changes look really helpful. The Combat level-locked worlds are a good fix in my opinion.
Typo: When talking about last lives, it says all attuned and unattuned relics are lost, but it should say sigils.
If I have 3 sigils active, can they all be from the same tier, or can I only have one sigil from each tier active?

Hey - how is quest xp gonna work?
If i have my 3rd death, all my xp goes to 0 and I lose all quest xp/chance of getting it again?
After losing your 3rd life you lose all combat experience and 10% of skilling experience. Your quest progress is saved.
If you already completed a quest and got the rewards you wouldn't be able to obtain them again.
Damn, might give this a shot again. Though I'll probably give up after losing all my combat XP once I die for the 3rd time lol
The plan is that you'll be able to rebuild pretty darn quick in this Deadman :D
Honestly Husky hit the nail on the head with this one and continued to raise a really good point afterwards. Personal attacks towards JMods is nothing short of unacceptable - there is literally zero need for it.

What about Demonbane weaponry (silverlight -> arclight) OR Demonbane spells from the Arceuus spellbook??
In another comment I did mention it could be Demonbane weapons. Will have to see what the team decides upon but I think that's a nicer approach :)

We were promised that Easy, Medium and Hard achievements would all be accessible to pures (1 def). However this simply isnt true. Some of the tasks I can see:
Easy Tier: i) Kill a Lizardman Shaman with full Shayzien Armour (T5) equipped. This requires 20 defence
ii) Finish off a Greater Demon with Arclight. Few pures have 75 attack, most are 50-75
medium: i) Kill Skotizo with Arclight equipped. As before.
Hard: i) Finish off K'ril Tsutsaroth with Arclight. As before
I would rework this by either changing the Shayzien armor req to 1 def, or removing that task, and allowing the darklight to also be used for those arclight steps.
The rest seems fine on 1st glance.
This was an oversight on our end and the Shayzien armour task will be changed with next week's game update as its not something we can hotfix. We're still currently discussing the Arclight side of things but I don't see why that wouldn't change to Silverlight/Demonbane weapons instead.
Why is Arclight required for the EASY tier of the combat diaries? You say base 60 stats "recommended" but Arclight requires 75 Attack... surely it would be more appropriate in the medium tier??
I've raised this with the team as feedback. I agree, Arclight isn't exactly an Easy tier item - I think Silverlight would be a good replacement for anything within Easy tier!
