In addition, shamans will no longer spawn thralls if they are poisoned or envenomed, giving everyone a bit of a break.

Does this mean that Shamans will start firing mage attacks when poisoned rather than summoning? Or do they just completely stop doing anything?

Correct, they will start swapping to magic. Poisoned shamans now no longer spawn thralls, this means that they're now vulnerable to poison which means that players can tag them and forget about them, which should help them control the flow of the room.

Next week will likely have Poll 80 monkey room changes - we'll prioritise the most important changes for players to work on first.

Glad to hear you like it! I've corrected a typo with this as it should say "10x" not "10%".

I've clarified that it should be "10x" not "10%" as originally mentioned. There was a typo, sorry!

Random events with costume rewards would commonly give 500 coins to a player who already had the full outfit. They now give XP lamps instead of those coins. The lamps are identical to the Genie's lamp, giving 10% of your level in the skill. The Quizmaster's Mystery Box and Prison Pete may give such a lamp instead of coins too.

This is honestly pretty big, ups useful random events from 2 to 6 or 7

Heya, it looks like there was a typo in this one. I believe it's been corrected to 10x instead of 10% (should behave exactly like the Genie one does now).

I used the chat feature, will try to find the 'mail' one!

I’ve DMed you on the 21 August. Not sure why it hasn’t gone through on your end, any other way to contact you? 😅

Working with you (as well as GentleTractor, Hooti and Volcaban) on this project has been such a pleasure, I couldn’t have asked for more. I hope we can continue to work together in the future!

Typically in polls we have a survey included to help us prioritise each update and how much players want us to prioritise them for release. Unfortunately that wasn't possible to include for Poll 80, so it is on me as a CM, to let the team know about high priority updates and which need to go out first. We have review meetings every day after game updates where we discuss topics related to the game update and so, I will be sure to raise it then. It's also worth noting though that even if I do raise it, it may not come any quicker due to the reasons outlined in this comment (https://www.reddit.com/r/2007scape/comments/15sl921/comment/jwew41p/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3)

BeerExchange, you know what, I'll change it now just for you. Thank you for constantly raising the bar.

Kinda bummed that the mobile rework beta is being pushed back. I spend a significant portion of my play time on mobile and was looking forward to trying it out. Totally understand if it had to be done though.

Thanks for your understanding, and sorry about that.

Although understandable, it is somewhat disappointing that a niche limited time game mode takes precedence over updates that affect the rest of the game. However I totally understand that has a very specific deadline to launch, doesn't change the fact it *feels* bad.

I get you. It's intetesting because our game is so community focused and we work differently to a lot of game studios. I want to be clear that as it currently stands, any project, of any type, would typically take priority over a QoL change from a Poll so this isn't specific to DMM.

QoL Poll content gets fit into wherever we can drop it in the release schedule. Not saying that's the best way of doing it but that's how it works. Anyway, QoL content is the stuff that gets done "when it can".

Projects are very interesting because they can vary so much in complexity. Unlike other studios, we typically poll a lot of things with the community. Even stuff like seasonal modes require some of the rewards to be polled, and so these can vary in complexity. Projects typically have launch dates that we need to work towards, because that's how game dev works. But bcause our polling system is so flexible, we need the ability to move our launch dates if neede...

I'm down to suggest that, but then we'll probably have two job role openings for community manager rather than one haha
