I think in the f2p community it was just assumed that the lower tier ashes for imps and lesser/greater demons would be obtainable in f2p. The only concern really was over whether bones and ashes would be able to be buried/scattered in the same tick effectively doubling prayer rates for regular f2p accounts.

edit: thgril pointed out that the poll blog change log does infact specify ashes were to be f2p.

Won't know until we discuss this as a team, but we'd probably look to make regular old ashes drop on F2P Worlds. We didn't really poll the latter option which is why the first is preferred, but the second option is possible.

Edit: Correction - I've been made aware we did put F2P information in the Blog, and we'll be correcting the Ash system so that it works as polled. Apologies for the miscommunication. :)

Thanks for raising this. This looks like it's due to the change we've made in the Ash System, we'll look into how we can tweak the system so that drops in F2P remain the same.

Edit - I've been made aware (thanks to you guys!) that the current situation doesn't reflect what was polled in relation to F2P, so we'll definitely be fixing that when we discuss it as a team tomorrow in our game update review.

The poll question only talked about half xp, which I consider fair considering the charges cost nearly nothing

With full xp, you can get roughly 20k prayer from an extended nechryael task, compared to 10k if it only gives half xp. Dont think this needs a buff

Please accept my apologies on this one. I wrote the Poll 75 Blog and when writing the Blog I wasn't aware that the Ash Sanctifier would go up to 100% XP after completing the Diary. The notes I had written down about it was that it worked similarly to the Bonecrusher and I didn't make the XP rates clear enough. I've made a point to raise it in our game update review and consider what we can do to rectify. Sorry again, and thank you for raising it.

Thanks! We recognise the demand for this and have brought this up internally - a mobile portrait mode is not part of the roadmap for now as it doesn't fall into the Enhanced Client work, but we will take note of it for future discussion. We want to improve quality where we can and where it makes sense for us to do so. The current work involved in making a portrait mode is quite significant so not something that fits in with our current plans atm.

We'd like to thank you for all of the feedback since yesterday's game update. We've collated some of the most notable pieces of feedback and we'd like to give you a quick update before the weekend on what we're going to do about it.

This is not an exhaustive list of everything we've heard, but in short, here's what we have collated...

  • A Night at the Theatre doesn't feel like a quest and doesn't meet the usual standard of Quests.
  • Within Story Mode, players feel some mechanics do a lot of damage while others barely do any.
  • The Nylocas phase in Story Mode feels unnecessarily long for some players.
  • Some players felt the mechanics in Story Mode were inconsistent to Normal TOB. There was some concern that this could lead to undesirable habits for newer players.
  • The reward lamps do not award Prayer XP, although Prayer is technically a Combat Skill.
